I visited East Canberra General Practice today for the first time and was very pleasantly surprised by the friendly and welcoming atmosphere, and the cheerful manner of all the staff. I saw Dr Larissa Prior, who was absolutely wonderful. She listened attentively to all my symptoms, was very thorough regarding my medical history and was kind and empathetic throughout. I'm so happy to have found such a lovely doctor and medical practice.
Quick appointment today to meet my new doc and get a prescription renewed. Came away feeling confident I will be comfortable with Dr Smith, and front reception always polite and helpful.
Saw Dr Angela Wu on a Sunday morning. She spent half an hour going through my medical test results and next steps. She is professional and patient. The Sunday reception staff were also helpful and efficient. Highly recommend this clinic and Dr Wu.
I have been attending East Canberra General Practice for over 4 years now, and through 2 pregnancies and now with my 2 kids. Every doctor we have seen has been thorough and kind. I drive to the other side of town and I will continue to do so because they are so great.
Dr. Tharani Tharmakumar is amazing - listens, knowledgeable, and actually interested in my goals, needs, and values as a patient. No judgement, took the time to ask about relevant medical and life history, and explained my recent test results clearly. I feel confident in my next steps for my medical care. Thank you!
