I was given an appointment at a particular time. I received an appointment reminder one week earlier with the advise that cancellation within 24 hours would be charged in full fees to which I responded that I won't be able to attend appointment with any longer than 15 minutes waiting time. When I called on the day of appointment to ask about timing I was advised that they are running 25 min plus. I advised the surgery that I am not able to attend late appointment due to my other commitments and was told that I might have to pay cancellation fees. I responded that my appointment is at 3:45 pm and that is the time I am able to attend but not much later than that. Be careful with booking an appointment with this surgery. All other reviewers indicate the same issues. Surprisingly, they are able to survive as a business with this sloppy practice. The practice is actually Dr Drummond’s practice.
Dr Miller identified a skin abnormality and removed it immediately. Four days later, the practice contacted me to inform me it was skin cancer and to come in for further removal. I am now skin cancer free. If not for Dr Miller's observation and quick intervention, I am horrified as to what might have happened. Yes, sometimes you have to wait a while. But if waiting a bit might result in the identification and removal of a cancer, I would wait all day if needed. I see a number of complaints about having to wait...... your health is worth a little inconvenience.
Been here 4 times - each time 40-60min wait past stated appointment time. It's systematic and they don't try fixing it read other reviews. A strong disregard for your time. Edit: it's 4pm and I am yet to see the doctor for my 2:40pm appointment. Edit 2: it's now 4:12pm, I saw the doctor for 10 minutes and had to pay 175$ Doctor comes across as extremely rushed and not caring :/
Unethical practice. Dr Miller bars patience that leave negative feedback and bed reviews. Rather then addressing the problem of consistently making patience wait 1 hr past the appointment time
Only dermatologist I saw in Canberra who identified a BCC growing on the skin next to my eye. Saw two others before him who brushed off my concerns as a “mole” - one even suggested as an “ethnic” person I was prone to moles. It had been misdiagnosed for two years until Dr Miller identified it and luckily I had it removed. Since then I go to Dr Miller and I’m not bothered by long waits to see a competent practitioner. He even fit me in at short notice before Christmas the year before last to remove a concerning grown. Recommend him wholeheartedly.
Terrible service upon entering, I waited 5 months to get an appointment and then got there to wait 40 mins and be told they have no idea how much longer he would be. When you pay 300 odd dollars for an appointment, you would expect to be relatively close to being on time and have a higher level of service. Won't ever return and would not recommend
I appreciate the expertise that this place provides. As someone with a skin disease with systemic complications I appreciate this friendly and professional practice. Occasionally I may have to wait 15 minutes or so, but I know this generally means that I will be afforded the time required by their doctors should complications arise.
I have so happy to get treated by Dr Rachael Anforth. I was suffering from chronic tinea from 2 years and more and finally it is gone. All thanks to her.
Unbelievably slow. I have to waited over 45 mins . And there are some patients waiting for more than an hour. If you've booked an appointment with ACT dermatology take your time no rush, you'll still be waiting when you get there.
If you have skin problem other than acne, go find someone else. This doctor lack basic pathology for anything else. But they will happily take your money tho 100+bucks per visit for some cortisal cream,great! i wish there is a return policy on useless medical appointment as such.
