Dunn’s Swamp is a fantastic place which makes me feel like home I love the rock climbing, cliff jumping and the dam. I’m so happy that Dunn’s swamp exists. 😁😁💕

Great bush campground next to a swamp which is actually a nice swimming, kayaking and fishing lake. Kayaks can be hired here, check times. Facilities are 'bush basic', need to bring own water.

Nice place but too well known. Lots of people venture there and you are camping on hard worn down clay. I'd rather be in the scrub with less people noise. I'm pretty sure most of the comments below come from city folk who usually go Glamping.

One of the nicest campgrounds I've ever been to. Secluded, mostly separate sites in the middle of a forest. After March 31 the fireban is lifted and firewood provided. Sites have their own fire pits. The only thing that comes a bit short is maybe a few longer walks.

Gunguddy, or Dunns Swamp as some people call it, is a divine campsite. The rock formations are superb, the cultural heritage unique and the swimming is excellent. The site is located on the bends of the Cudgegong River, which was dammed for the Kandos Cement works. This means the river is deep and it's easy to find a camp site away from others (unless it's a long weekend!). Good remote facilities, little mobile range, take in everything you need including water and firewood. Check with Mudgee NSW NPWS office for up-to-date road conditions.
