Easy access to the campground down the valley ideally suited for a 4wd due to some rocky areas. Drop toilets. No showers or water. Clean and spacious with few others so privacy assured- at least when we were there. We tented it. 
Close to suburbia.
Good for a technology free simple weekend.

About the size of 3 football fields everyone can find some space to themselves. Steel fire pits are convenient. 45 minute round trip walk to the glow worm canyon (after dark only).

Great spot, spacious and level, long drop toilets are well maintained. Access is light 4wd

Great location for a weekend getaway. Nice big grassed area for a kid friendly nature experience.
