Dr De Viana is a genuine and caring doctor who saw me through my bileteral mastectomy and reconstruction surgery and was there whenever he was needed. He answered all my questions in detail and reassured me every step along the way. There arent many surgeons who truly care about their patients so i am grateful to have found the opposite in doctor De Viana. He often cames to check on his patients in the hospital on the weekends and always seems to put them first. Highly recommended doctor

In 2012 Dr De Viana removed my breast at my insistence as he thought it wasn't necessary. As it happened, after the pathology came back it confirmed an aggressive portion of tumour which would have meant that had I not insisted on having the mastectomy I would have ended up having 2 surgeries. About 3 years later I rang his rooms asking for a consult to have a lump removed from my other breast. The woman on the phone told me "aren't you getting a bit ahead of yourself, you haven't even had pathology done". I was told they would ring me back with an appt time - they did - 2 weeks after I had the lump removed by another surgeon. Good surgical skills but in my view the staff just seemed insincere and arrogant
