A family member highly recommended Dr Puhalla to me. I will be eternally grateful for that recommendation. I’m in my early 70s, so proceeding with a gastric bypass was a huge decision. The operation was done June 2016 & I would do it all again in a heartbeat. Pivotal to my decision to go ahead with the procedure was Dr Puhalla himself. At my initial consult I was so impressed with his attention to detail as he explained in depth the pros & cons of the surgery & the journey I was embarking on. He was honest, didn’t sugar coat anything & he showed me respect. As time went on, I was also impressed by his kindness, his patience, and last (but not least for me) his sense of humour. From 111kg at my heaviest to 57.5kg in 64 weeks is a great feat, however for me personally, it’s not all about the weight loss, it’s about having my self-esteem back, being healthy, not having to take blood pressure meds anymore, not having the threat of diabetes hanging over me, being free of arthritic pain, feeling energetic, feeling happy and not depressed, being able to enjoy every day with family and friends, the list of pros is endless. Oops nearly forgot, my new wardrobe does rate a high 5   Dr Puhalla and his team support you at every step along the way & are the absolute best in my books & I give them my highest recommendation.

Dr Puhalla is the most amazing doctor/Surgeon I’ve had the pleasure of dealing with. He performed gastric bypass surgery on me 12 months ago and I have since lost 54kg and gained a happy healthy lifestyle, thanks to his support and expertise. I would highly recommend Dr Puhalla to anyone looking at weight loss surgery. He has amazing bedside manner, extremely knowledgeable and understanding and works alongside a great team. Thanks Dr Puhalla and team, you have changed my life.

I have dealt with many Drs over the years, and have had a various procedures, and I found Dr Harald Puhalla's professionalism second to none! Thank you Dr Puhalla for the end to end care. If you're looking to have weight loss surgery, don't look any further than Dr Harald Puhalla in Gold Coast Qld
