We had the best Japanese sushi in Gold coast and probably in Australia. It was as good as Sushi in Japan. Thank you Chef for your great culinary expertise to prepare our beautiful dinner and we thoroughly enjoyed everything.
This is the most authentic Japanese dining experience you’ll find on the Gold Coast. The food is not only delicious, but the portions are generous—just look at the size of this Tonkatsu set! With a warm and inviting atmosphere, you'll feel as if you've been transported to Japan the moment you step inside. I absolutely love this place!
Travel a long way for the visit. Offered an outside table which was horrible with cigarette smoke and traffic air pollution. Food was very average. Pork katsu was sluggish as it’s not placed on a metal shelf for table presentation and taste is plain. Was upsetting with the current quality compared with what they were back then at Broadbeach.
Amazing food. We had the Sapporo Hand Roll, it's so fresh and so delicious. It's beyond our expectations! The staff was lovely and very nice. We will definitely come back next time when ee visit Surfers Paradise again.
I finally went to Donto Sapporo for lunch, years after they relocated to Sorrento. The restaurant is cosy and always booked out so make sure you book ahead of time. The Supreme Namachirashi Don consisted of a large variety of fresh seafood including uni. The Deluxe Sapporo Bento priced at $32 included sashimi, eel, chicken karaage, chawanmushi, tempura, miso soup and rice. Whilst the bento was tasty and good value for money, the dishes weren’t anything to rave about and I won’t be running back to the restaurant anytime soon
