We walked in on a Saturday night for dinner without a reservation. The restaurant was full inside, hence they sat us outside.nnFood was exquisite.nSushi was very fresh, and delicately prepared.nCooked dishes are really tasty.nnWe would say these are one of the best Japanese shops in the Gold Coast we have experienced.nnWould come back.
I’m extremely angry and disappointed. The food was decent, but the service was absolutely unacceptable. If I could give zero stars for the service, I would. As a non-white customer, I was treated with clear disrespect by one of the young male waiters, whose behavior was blatantly discriminatory. It was a shocking and deeply upsetting experience. If you’re not white, be warned—you may face the same kind of racist treatment I did. I strongly urge others to think twice before supporting a place where such behavior is tolerated.
Food in here is so fresh, high-quality. We had shabu shabu and sashimi. The food is no yum and no additives. Service is quick. I also love the atmosphere, feel like living in japanese.
We had the best Japanese sushi in Gold coast and probably in Australia. It was as good as Sushi in Japan. Thank you Chef for your great culinary expertise to prepare our beautiful dinner and we thoroughly enjoyed everything.
Travel a long way for the visit. Offered an outside table which was horrible with cigarette smoke and traffic air pollution. Food was very average. Pork katsu was sluggish as it’s not placed on a metal shelf for table presentation and taste is plain. Was upsetting with the current quality compared with what they were back then at Broadbeach.
