Can be hit or miss here depending on what you order. We go on a weekly basis before a movie or after a UFC fight. We have Star platinum, gold and bronze members in our family. Staff have been mostly friendly and accommodating, except when I was told it would cost a dollar when I asked for basic hot sauce, and we had just paid for a large meal we usually go with 4 to 6 people. What a bunch of penny pinching nonsense. Here's what we found has been good: Spicy Buffalo crispy fried wings & blue cheese dip are on point, we have 2 Americans in our family and you guys have got this down to a T, so keep it up! The pumpkin salad and caesar salad are winners! The Singapore style Lobster special with fried rice was delicious, can you please do more of this dish as it is underrated. The meat lovers pizza, supreme pizza, chicken parmesan, chicken schnitzel with gravy, corned beef special, chicken burger, spring rolls, butter chicken, pumpkin soup, onion rings, wedges and roast beef plate have all been very good. The vanilla slices and other cakes have all been great. No complaints. What's been mediocre and inconsistent: The calamari was good one time and overcooked, almost burnt another time. Same with the t-bone steak and the beef burger. Also one time you had horseradish, another time you did not. Some consistency would be nice. What's been a disappointment: The steak and bugs special was bad, nothing good to say about it but bland, dry, and overcooked, some steak sauce and garlic butter would've been nice. The side salads that come with a meal are tiny and barely have any dressing on them and are mostly tasteless perhaps offer other dressings too for some variety, they're more like a garnish than anything. The lobster mornay special was overcooked and pretty awful, we left still hungry. The roast lamb special was tough, overcooked and barely had any gravy on it and was super bland. Don't ever skimp on gravy with the roast dinner plates!! May I suggest adding herbs, garlic & olive oil to the vegetables? Or at least lemon pepper seasoning or something. It's like eating cubes of water.
Big shout out to Cory who makes THE BEST frappes and coffee and always with a smile on his face and customer service second to none. OMG, really delicious. Please go and try, you won't regret it. Good food. Reasonably priced, value for money, fresh and well cooked. Thanks Food Quarter.
The Food was Great. But to Get check in, too much Hazzle & Agravtion with the Security. You Show Already Fully Vaccination Certificate, they still wants to get into your phone. To travel 110klm. Just to get a Meal, Relax play Pokies. I think we Going to Give it a Missed. We support them Even Lockdown and Codvid times, Close Border times.Need to Find A solution to this. For other Seniors who wants to Enjoy Star Casino.. To Show you I've been there here's some photos.
Located within the gaming floor, we ended up here as this was the only place offering coffee at 5 pm and to tie us over to our dinner and show. If you’re gambling, you don’t have to leave your machine and walk too far for some food and drinks lol Service was good and tables were cleared quickly as well. They give you a buzzer and collection of food and drinks is pretty straightforward.
Awful meal. The steak was tasteless, tough, undercooked for medium and had lots of inedible sinew through it.. The Moreton. Bay Bug had black areas on it.that looked like mould. See photos. Very disappointed as we've been eating here for so long as the steak has always been cooked perfectly except for today.
Had the steak and prawns. The steak was fabulous.. so nice. Fresh salad and yummy chips. Was the best meal from here for a long time. Thank you. Was really really taken back with Anita who was taking orders though, not a nice person for that position. One star for that area.
A cozy place to grab a few bites and some drinks with your mates. They alter their menu from time to time and it’s worth checking The Star app for their monthly dining promos. This place has opportunity to up their game. I still think The Star Sydney has better dining deals and quality. The sportsbar is just as great to order their pub food.
Had there burgers and pizza and it was so delicious. Perfect crunch to pizza with great ambience in casino.
I had the roast beef with mash and fran had the salmon special, both were terrible, couldnt eat them, the roast was tough and the salmon was over cooked and mushy, cheap, but not worth the money. Don't bother with here unless you have no taste.Food: 1/5
Great roast for $12, in a busy cafeteria style venue. Order, grab a table and wait for your buzzer to sound before you go to the collection area to pick up your meals. There’s a high volume of meals being pumped out as this place is popular with the keno crowd. They do well given the massive amount of food they dish out and the low prices.
