This business went above and beyond to look after me with my small garden project. Thank you Ben for providing recommendations based on what my palms needed and thank you Beni delivery boss man for the help and smart suggestion for drop off. Both these outstanding workers need recognition and increased pay - I commend and am thankful!!!
The price has always been great at donnelly’s, however I am always somewhat disappointed, the latest was the screened topsoil, described as Screened sandy loam topsoil to suit general garden and lawn use. It was filled with stones and broken tile clay and organic matter. I called to convey my disappointment in the product and the I was told it was only screened to 10 mm, some stones and tile were bigger than that. I was offered some some sand, but that doesn’t take care of the thousands of stones that will now go through my lawn mower, my dethatcher and my aerator. This needs to be advertised for what it really is, not screened fill. That truly was all it was good for. If my kids fall over on the lawn, they will no doubt be scratched up or cut by the sharp stones. If you want this screened you will have to do it yourself which defeats the purpose of buying screened anything. Please advise if you offer a completely screened soil, or a refining service because all I want is soil.
Have used Donnelly's Garden Supplies - Cranbourne South a few times now for crushed rock, soil, and vegetable garden materials. Excellent customer service, very friendly, knowledgeable and reasonable prices. Couldn't recommend enough!

Great service. Had an issue of random rubbish mixed in with a load of chip and they picked it up and replaced with a clean load. The issue was with their supplier.
Ben is an absolute superstar. My sister and I went into store to look at the different types of rock and Ben was more than helpful. He was patient with us and gave us some really useful advice about drainage for our newly built retaining wall. Prices and delivery times are reasonable but Ben’s service is second to none. Thanks so much!
Two stars for the blokes being nice over the phone, but overall was very disappointed. I called a couple of times to inquire about a particular colour of stone/pebble I was after. I even asked the person I was speaking with to jump online whilst I was on the phone to confirm that the pebble colour on the website is the actual colour I will be getting and he confirmed it was. Unfortunately this wasn't the case, the colour was different and so was the pebble size. There were quite a few large pebbles through the mix as well, which was not what I wanted. I should have just purchased the pebbles from Daisey's who were $15 cheaper per cubic m and I would have saved on delivery fees!! Pictures of pebbles I wanted versus what I got. : I was never told to come inspect the product - so I am very surprised to see you say you insisted on me coming to see the product!! Thats just not true.
