Worst shopping experience ever! We ordered and paid a deposit for a Ligne Roset Togo in May 2020 and had waited over a year for nothing. At first they blamed it on shipping delays due to Covid, then delays in customs and MPI clearance etc. All were just lies. Unfortunately we didn’t see the comments by another victim with the same experience below before placing the order otherwise we would have got something else and have a couch to sit on in our living area long ago.
Unfortunately i was also a victim of these lying fraudsters, paid a large deposit for two Ligne Roset arm chairs, i was lied to for 8 months, being told they were ordered and held up in shipping due to Covid, finally got confirmation from Ligne Roset themselves saying they do no supply Domo, i confronted Karen about all her lying and deceiving, it seems she is a pro at this. I wasn't sure about leaving a bad review BUT having seen she has done this to yet more people, EVERYONE should be aware of this awful company that really shouldn't even be in business!
Ordered and paid a deposit for Ligne Roset chairs that then never turned up. No real tracking documentation provided. Lots of excuses. Finally a refund of our deposit paid out, but we've been left feeling misled and angry.
Had a very similar extremely poor experience to previous reviewers with the non delivery of outdoor furniture purchased and fully paid for. A multitude of excuses over an extended period of time with conflicting reasons that really made no sense. Recovered costs following litigation. Would not recommend to anyone in this lifetime.
Interesting to see the positive comments from customers. I handled the importation of much of that furniture and have yet to be paid for shipments handled in December 2018 to the extent that we continue to hold a shipment from May last year pending payment. Always two sides to every story isn't there, Karen.
We ordered a sleep settee from Ligne Roset in May 2018. After paying the deposit, it was neither ordered, nor were we told, it wasn't ordered. Only by involving legal help did we find out in January 2019, that DOMO hasn't ordered anything from Ligne Roset since 2017, and is not even a distributor since May 2018. But from May 2018 to January 2019, they pretended, the ordered item was on its way from France, just stuck in ports or not released by customs. Well, customers or to be customers of DOMO, hope nobody gets treated ,like we did. Nothing can make up for the horrific experience , we had with this so called "luxury" furniture store.
Had a great experience here. The staff helped me pick the perfect Togo for my room layout and it was delivered in a timely fashion. Most importantly, it looks fantastic in the space and is ultra comfy.
I have contacted France and communicated with Matt, the general manager of Ligne Roset New Zealand distributor, and confirmed that DOMO no longer has the distribution rights of Ligne Roset in July 2020. DOMO continues to accept orders without distribution rights, and has been doing so in the past 15 months and they have been deceiving customers with different reasons for months, this kind of behavior is a crime!
What a great experience at Domo! Staff were so helpful and friendly with a good knowledge of all the products. All our questions answered and very happy with our purchase. A first rate company who I would recommend to everyone
