After being told that a doctor would be at my house within 2 hours, I waited another hour then called the service and was told it might be another 2 hours before a doctor could come. That meant 5 hours from my inital phone call. I then opted for a phone consult which still took another 30 mins before I received a call. An obviously young English male doctor then told me what I had was "just a virus" and after being given 1 dose of antibiotics by my GP he would not give me another script because he told me "it's called being sick". His diagnosis may have been accurate, but I found him extremely rude and condescending. He needs to develop some compassion for the patient and show them the same respect he would to his own parents or a family member.
Receptionist couldn’t get us off the phone fast enough. “We’re the only 24 hr locum service in Perth, but our recommendation is to go to urgent care. I can’t tell you where the closest urgent care is”. Well… thank you very much.
Only getting 1 star so that I can post feedback. Booking made at 11.30am on a Sat. GP reception told Dr should be in area between 1-2pm. 3.30pm follow-up says Dr in next suburb with 2 other patients to see, but is at an aged care facility, so could go longer. 6.45pm told "still booked" but Dr's can choose whatever order they want to see patients and can't give any idea of when one might come. Cancelled appt. Absolutely appalling & unacceptable service; and if true Dr can just decide what order to see patients in, totally ridiculous. Will never use again and will be sure to tell others same.
Called and used the service several times, all the ladies were lovely. Just the guy Receptionist was so rude, never let me get the chance to respond. He finished what he wanted to say and just hung up my call! No sympathy at all, karma will goes to you. Edit: Thank you for your reply. I called this morning 14/11/2022.
I have rung twice over the last 3 years.. They refused to help me ..vomiting and diarohea.told me to go to Drs.."Did not want to help me at all...no healthcare given Disgusting
I was not expecting anything great having read the reviews but I was pleasantly surprised. The staff who answered my call were friendly, courteous and helpful. They were very upfront about the cost especially with it being a public holiday and that I would probably have a very long wait. Yes the wait was long, however, I was happy to be at home rather than stuck in the ED of a hospital. The doctor was very pleasant and patient with excellent advice and provided everything that I needed to get scans and so on. I found Dr Gweja to be very helpful and an absolute asset to this service.
2nd time using this service, both for my kids and very happy. Today being a public holiday was very busy so was told there was not doctor available to come out understandably, but offered a phone consultation. I can't remember the name of the doctor I spoke to but he was really friendly and helpful and put my mind at ease. Originally staff at time of booking were also kind, professional and helpful.
Extremely bad behaviour from the lady on phone.I know that even after my review, nothing is going to improve as I noted from past feedbacks that I have been talking about the same lady who has been given enormous feedbacks before but seemed yesterday as if nothing changed yet.Unsure if she is really the manager or likes to call herself the same. She should learn listening skills as she is abrupt, extremely rude, ill mannered, manipulative. I never put bad review for anyone, this is my first probably. She was shouting on phone without any reason and blaming me of same when I am listening to her first and then expressing my concern. No one and absolutely no one has the right to behave like that specially if you are front line staff on call for people who are ill or are speaking for them. I am speaking about the lady who told me her name is Tanya probably lied on that too as I am unsure if that’s her name because of her people had to suffer in pain. No moral values, absolutely no communication skills.She continously yelled at me to stop talking when she never finished talking herself. My dear get the job which you like and please do not be on phone if this frustrates you or every concern of person triggers you. I had to call her twice as I wanted the right thing done for my people as I didn’t wanted unprofessional, unethical people like these to stop me from doing the right thing. She has no understanding of what she is doing and doesn’t even want to know. On top of it, she shouts on people. Do u guys even check the call recording ever and try to improve to give some training to your staff. I hope nobody experiences this. And only putting a reply back on each email doesn’t resolve the issue, if you are really wanting to resolve issues, then kindly please go deep into this matter to resolve. This lady definitely has deeper issues but till she resolves them, keep her away from other people so she cannot bother other people like this.Extremely terrible service from this lady particularly.She is giving people anxiety, mental stress rather than helping them.
Unreliable! Long wait!! Ordered for my 3yr old, was given a wait time of 3 hours. After 2 hours received a call to check in, after advising further symptoms, we were advised we would been Shortly. 5.5 hours later still no dr, called to request an ETA which couldn’t be advised. When wanting to cancel I was told the dr was on the way, to then be told actually they weren’t and would be another 1/2-1 hour maybe I ended up cancelling as my son fell asleep at 9pm. Extremely disappointed in the service. Wouldn’t recommend!
Dr arrived at our home well ahead of expectation 1.5 hrs ahead of schedule to prescribe and treat my partner suffering severe nausea and vomiting. The consult and treatment was speedy, painless and very courteous saving us the long wait in emergency, even if we could have got there. Thanks so much for the great service.
