The equipment and facilities are decent, but the overall atmosphere has become uncomfortable. I’ve had multiple negative interactions with members that felt aggressive or confrontational, and I didn’t feel the situation was properly addressed.nnStaff also rarely greet members or make much effort to resolve issues when concerns are raised. The gym has potential, but the customer service and overall environment need improvement.
This gym has some of the oldest and most frequently broken equipment I’ve seen. Several machines have been out of order for weeks and continue to break repeatedly. Some free-weight benches aren’t properly bolted down, which is a major safety concern Recently, bolts were added to the dual pulley cable machines at the lowest setting, which has made many exercises awkward or unusable. Just why? Move the machines somewhere else if people are blocking the way. If that’s is the reason why. There’s Always someone on the only one that hasn’t been tampered with doing tricep push downs, instead of utilising both pulleys like it’s made for.nnThe men’s toilets are consistently in poor condition. There’s always some sort of plumbing issues, including flush buttons that are loose and taped on rather than properly sealed into the wall. Each stall appears to have the same issue. The backs of toilet seats are often not cleaned, with visible buildup. There is also a broken urinal, one toilet seat that has been missing for over six months, two other seats with cracks, a missing shower head, and one of the water fountain that has been out of order for over a month. 2 times i’ve been here while both water fountains were out of order and didn’t supply any bottle water for gym members like they should during maintenance.nnCleanliness overall is lacking. Members often don’t wipe down equipment after use, and there are no proper cleaning stations with disposable wet wipes like most gyms provide—only spray bottles, and paper towels are frequently unavailable.nnFor the price, this location does not offer good value. The so-called “premium membership” provides no added benefit here, as there are no fitness classes at this location. Membership fees are increasing to $13 per week via direct debit, which works out to around $676 per year, no up front options available. when it was just $150 for the whole year just a few months ago without any noticeable improvements or upgrades.nnThis gym has potential but it urgently needs better maintenance, hygiene standards, and facility management
I think it’s a good gym. Has everything you need and big enough so you’re not waiting around for the equipment. Not intimidating at all as a girl.
Recently the quality of the machines has significantly dropped last 6 months. A bunch of the old but reliable Hammer Strength setups are now replaced by Precor branded machines which are already falling apart despite being new and feel cheaply produced so much wiggle and the fasteners don't feel safe. Almost always 2-3 broken treadmills or bikes. Considering the fees keep increasing but the quality is decreasing I can't in good faith recommend the place anymore.
The worst kept gym in Melbourne.nAll the machines are broken .nGym only wants members but doesn’t keep equipment in working condition.They have a room which has been emptied for 18months.nThe management and owners should be embarrassed.The gym is a joke.
