I recently visited the DOT Joondalup to transfer my driver's license, and I must say, the process was smoother than expected. The staff at the counter, including Belle and the assessor, were professional, knowledgeable, and guided me through each step with clarity.nnThe processing time was amazing, especially considering how busy the centre can get. Arriving early definitely helped, as I was attended to promptly. The facility itself was well-organized, making it easy to navigate the different service areas.
The lady name Faith in all honesty the best assessor, she made me feel so comfortable when I got into the car made me feel at ease. Could not thank her enough for getting the stress and anxiety out of my system. Very impressed with her shes not like one of those typical assesor who doesnt talk to you making you feel more anxious. She made me feel very stress free during my whole PDA test. Thank you again!!!
I had such a good experience with DOT Joondalup, especially with Kelly Concierge 1 I was doing my NDIS check and messed up with the documents I had to bring. She helped me understand and advised on what I can do. I am fortunate enough to live down the road, quickly went home to fetch the right document, when I went back she spotted me and helped we right away so I didn't have to wait again. She's funny and witty, and just overall a very nice and kind person
I want to thank Sarah, the assessor at Joondalup DoT, a million times over! After a nerve-wracking first attempt, I was extremely anxious going into my second test — but she made the whole experience so much better. Sarah gave clear, calm, and precise directions and instantly put me at ease. Her professionalism and kindness truly made a difference. I passed thanks to her supportive approach, and I’m so grateful!
I passed my driving test today at DOT Joondalup on my second attempt, but the experience with Assessor 2500 was incredibly disappointing and unprofessional. From the very beginning, his attitude was rude, aggressive, and completely lacking in basic respect. He didn’t allow me or my instructor to speak, constantly interrupted, and created an unnecessary amount of pressure throughout the assessment.nnEven though I passed — which seemed to frustrate him — I was left feeling more stressed than necessary. My instructor and I both agreed his behaviour was completely out of line. It makes me worry for other learners, especially those who are more anxious, because someone like him could easily fail a capable driver just due to the intimidating environment he creates. DOT seriously needs to investigate how someone with such poor interpersonal skills is allowed to conduct assessments.
