Story

The City of Wanneroo is a local government area with city status in the northern suburbs of Perth, Western Australia. It is centred approximately 25km north of Perth's central business district and forms part of the northern boundary of the Perth metropolitan area.The city's main commercial and residential town centres are located at Wanneroo in the east and Clarkson in the north. Further urban centres are planned at Alkimos, Yanchep and Two Rocks in the future to coincide with rapid metropolitan expansion and development in the area. It is also home to the Yanchep and Neerabup National Parks, as well as the Neerabup Industrial Estate in the north.From the city's inception until 1998, it also incorporated the neighbouring City of Joondalup in its entirety.GeographyWanneroo covers a land area totalling 685.8km2. The city is bounded by Beach Road and the City of Stirling to the south, Alexander Drive and the City of Swan to the east, Wanneroo Road and Lake Joondalup to the south-west, the Indian Ocean to the west and the Shire of Gingin to the north.

Lack of interest/service. Told them about a two foot hole in the ground marlinspike park jindalee where workers removed a coppers log and forgot to put back for 2 weeks now. If you don't see the hole it's a broken leg for a person or dog. I put pole back, but workers removed it aain...You can't see the hole now as covered in grass.... Looks like they are getting sued! Havnt responded to my email for a week so they obviously don't care or have a lot of money to spare perhaps?
I just got home from work, to find Peter Ellerby from Wanneroo council and George Goin both Health Technical officers at my front door. They were investigating a complaint regaining burning off in my backyard using prohibited materials. I initially asked who they were and received no answer. Peter Ellerby then accused me of doing the wrong thing immediately and said he wanted to search my property for evidence of any wrong doing. I then asked again who they where and received no response other then we can come back with the police and a warranty to search the premises. I told him to go for it then, if that’s all it took to have my entire property searched a single complaint of wrong doing then our legal system is in serious trouble. It was at this point Peter Ellerby stormed off with a very stroppy grin on his face. Goodbye Peter, and have a lovely day.nnGeorge Goin however was extremely pleasant and reasonable, approached the situation cool, calm and collectedly. He Explained the situation, I answered his questions, and he explained the process well and sorted the situation beautifully. Thanks very much George for doing a great job much appreciated!nHope you were taking notes Peter, you could certainly take a few pages from Mr Goin’s book.

On rubbish collection day a panel on my fence was damaged due to next doors bin. The driver Ryan apologised & said he will report it to his supervisor Steve. I received a call shorty after from Steve and apologising and advised me that the panel would be replaced.nThe next morning the panel was replaced as well as another panel further down the fence.nI would just like to say a very big thank you to both Ryan & Steve for a quick and efficient reply.nnLyn Budiselicn47 Lindsay Beach BlvdnYanchep 6035
