Beautiful beautiful beautiful service from the owners. My family and I were stranded in Waitoki from 12am-6am travelling from Hamilton in the midst of the crazy floods and the owners came into the hall that we were in to offer their service.  They were nice enough to offer free coffees out of the kindness of their heart and they took it a step further offering food later through the day. This has made our significantly memorable experience into an into one with a positive note.  Thank you very much for the warm hospitality shown to us. This is what I will remember of not only DD's country cafe but also Waitoki.

Stopped on the way past for breakfast. Nice little tucked away cafe on the main road. Keep an eye out, it’s easy to zip past it. Salmon bagel and coffee for me which was delicious. Nice friendly crew, had a good chat.

Nice little countryside Cafe by the road, friendly staff and decent food with affordable price range

Until now our fav breakfast venue ….  And lots of nice lunches ….  But maybe different crew for morning tea.    Very stodgy date scone ..   coffee very milky and too hot to do it any favours !!!

Went with our walking group of nine. Had a great morning tea. The cabinet is very full of a great selection of food. And to top it off the man who delivered our food was great entertainment. We all enjoyed the visit tremendously.

First time here.  I had eggs Benedict and unfortunately they were nearly cold when they came out.  I should have said something but I was hungry and were in a rush.  I will give them a second chance one day.

waited nearly an hour for 2 coffee’s when they told us it would be a 10 minute wait i would understand if it was busy but there was only 2 other people in store, poor and lazy service do not recommend what so ever

Took family there for lunch, food and service was both excellent. Would definitely go again.
