One of the most beautiful venues in Auckland - The Boat House hosts Weddings, corporate events and functions and parties.

Story

We don’t like to boast, but we do believe The Boat House is one of the best function venues close to Central Auckland…being only 20 minutes by car.

As you’ll see in our photos, this lovely space flows out to our expansive decks and beautiful lawn. But it’s also a space that can be arranged to suit any gathering. Weddings are a specialty, family functions, big birthdays (or any other party for that matter), corporate events, community events – you name it, we can cater for it.
And of course we make it happen with our highly polished service and our top notch food and beverage.

Friends took me to this pub for lunch & it was fantastic. Food was delicious & came promptly. Friendly & accommodating staff A beautiful & easy drive from Auckland. Even on s rainy summer day the atmosphere was very pleasant. Parking was no problem. Looking forward to going back again next year.

Amazing venue, amazing staff, amazing food, amazing everything! My partner and I were married at the Boathouse in March. From the day Debs came on board, we were made to feel that we were her only couple – Debs genuinely cares about ensuring that your day is perfect and is there to help you plan all the little details. Bronnie is an absolute wonder woman – our day ran so smoothly and perfectly because of her knowledge, guidance and efficiency. An absolute dream team supported by amazing staff. We had the best day of our lives and are so grateful to have had such a perfect wedding venue! Thank you!!

I felt that the restaurant went through a bad patch a couple of years ago, with an uninspired menu and average waiting staff. However have been twice so far this summer as there has been a great improvement in the quality of the food, the well thought out menu and the waiting staff who have obviously gone through comprehensive training. It’s not cheep, probably slightly expensive. Overall impression is good, However my “rare” steak was a bit tough last time. Will go back again as their efforts deserve it.

Experience was excellent at The Landing restaurant. Wait staff sat us and introduced the specials to us. I had the fish and beer battered chips, and the fish was really fresh and sweet. The atmosphere was good too, and the place was very classic wooden venue. The view dining on the deck area was good as you look down into the forested and estuary area of the river.

Had a great day today. Service really friendly and food didn't take long to come and was brilliant. Makes a difference when not overcrowded.
