Sure to delight from our freshly cooked scones, cookies , cakes and slices through too Cornish pasties just like grandma use to make. Oh, gosh, yes :: here's a fab café for me and you with great choices and good coffee. Sit inside the old yet distinguished former railway station or outside on a patio so warm and busy that being there is quite invigorating. The staff are just like old friends and, well, everything happens just as you would like it. Don't forget to visit the crafts shop too ~~ remarkable locally made gifts
This is a lovely cafe.nnThe staff were very friendly and accommodating.nnTheir mugs are huge and the coffee is delicious! Just as I like it.nnIt was quite busy for a weekday morning.nnThere are a lot if yummy cabinet foods.nnYou'll find seating inside and outside on the deck.nnNext door is a little souvenir shop
First time visiting this cafe, and what a pleasant experience
Ginger crunch is a great relaxed country Cafe. Dogs are welcome so long as on lead and friendly.nCoffee is organic and strong, the kids love their takeaway thick shakesnYou can get a full size or half size/kids size French toast or eggs Benedict. Usually the half size is good for us but on the odd occasion when starving the full size goes down a treat.nNice cakes and slices. A good meeting spot for cake and coffee or a work meeting. You can sit inside or out on the balcony .nStaff are accommodating and friendly.
Every time we pass through Helensville, we stop for either a good coffee or something to eat. What I enjoy of the cafe is the atmosphere and the space between the tables, you don't share everyone's conversation and meal by sitting atop each other.nnThe burgers are really good and a really good portion of food , then when you look at the portions of either chios or wedges, so yummy.nnThe portions of food for the young ones are a big portion, making sure nobody leaves hungry.nnGood prices, and as I said, value for your buck. Very highly recommend to all current and future customers, great friendly staff. Let's support our local businesses during the tough times. See you soon.....
