Reserved a display Christmas tree under my name. All they did was simply stick a piece of paper stuck on the tree saying sold that anyone can rip off. Was told that we would get a call once the tree was packed up and ready to go. Waited one week and still no called. So I called up to find out what's going on. Next thing I know, the tree had been sold to someone else because there was no name on it. Then I got told they reserved another tree for me at another store which was a bigger one. It would have been too big for my house. Called up the other store, and got told it was the shorter tree that was reserved. After all this mucking around, I am left with no tree for Christmas and I had already bought all my decorations. Very upset.

There's not much of product selection 'cause it's a bit small. Customer service is also not very dependable. I waited for more than 10 minutes before I was acknowledged. Waiting time shouldn't be that much when there's not a lot customers.

David Jones at the Glen used to be a well run small fornat store. With the renovations at The Glen it has halved in size and become cramped, poorly stocked and often under-staffed. The interior fitout is looking very tired and dirty. I presume some of the will be addressed as part of The Glen refurbishment.

I Normally shop here and do enjoy the experience but the last Occassion was very poor. Went in to buy my son shirts and trousers and the guy in the menswear section was not at all helpful. He pretended not to listen as I tried to get his attention and was reluctant to open a shirt packet for my son to try on....saying something like it was a lot of effort and we didn't seem like we wanted to purchase. Have to say I was slightly offended. His coworker - a in the same Dept was a little better. If it weren't for the fact that there was a sale on I would've walked out - that's after spending $500+. Get your act together DJs - the competition is stiff and you need better trained front line sales staff!
