We have specialised staff members who are practiced in Audio Visual, and a Childrens Literature specialist on every shift. So when you come in we'll have a book or DVD for everyone and if we don't have the specific book or DVD your after our welcoming and talented staff are here help you find what your after.

As longstanding customers of Dymocks, myself and my family have enjoyed finding books in a comfortable environment, however an experience today in The Glen completely let down our opinions of what we thought was a great bookshop. As an avid book reader I often read the first two or three pages of a book to see if I like the writing style yet one of the workers thought it necessary to be completely rude and dismissive in telling me that "Dymocks was not a library and if we wanted to read anything to leave to visit the library down the road". I've often enjoyed the friendliness and passion of workers in bookshops and this woman's tone was an upsetting change in what we are used to. It turned us completely off making the purchases we had ventured there to get and as someone who would normally speak highly of Dymocks I'd suggest that you venture to find staff who know how to treat customers with a bit of respect and kindness.

Excellent selection of books, I can always find something worth reading. The staff have never failed to find a book for me even if that means ordering one in.
