I've always wanted to do a review for Dan Murphy's. I'm not a drinker myself, but Pete likes it here. So, if you are looking for a great place to go, look no further than Dan Murphy's Kawana
Big booze warehouse, with a drive through click and collect that puts a lot hole new meaning on “drink driving” : we need these in Glasgow! So I’m from the UK where prices are MUCH cheaper, but the prices here were certainly cheaper than elsewhere I found in Parrerra.
I love the drive through click and collect. Lucky Australians don't have a drinking problem because if you did, the convenience of not having to get of your car would surely cause havoc.
Simply the best range across the board. Easy pre-order and pull up to get car delivery, fully automated. Dan Murphys wins me over simply by having O'Brien gluten free beer. This makes me feel like a bloke again, minus the gluten face.
Third time drive thru pick up with HOT drinks. Not terribly convenient . Would even swap out some of a carton to get us under way. .. How is is possible that management think this is ok or normal that customers be needing a refrigerated beverage at a drive thru??
On December 19, I ordered over $350 of liquor for delivery to my home at Sippy Downs. As of January 1st it still hasn't arrived. Delivery time was estimated to be 2-4 days. After many conversations with the Bot and humans telling it was on board for dispatch..."tomorrow" still waiting. They have refunded $9 delivery fee! So last night, I had had enough and sent a email to cancel the whole thing. Problem is the goods chosen were on special for members only. What a fiasco..
Great staff huge varieties of alcohol, well set out, easy to find what you are for.
The service from Zac was amazing. He helped me collect a list of drinks for a Christmas function in next to no time and made my evening by going above and beyond any expectations. Thanks Zac! :
