An unfortunate experience for us. Telstra has done a lot to improve there walk in customer experience across Australia but this store has some staff that are very unwilling to help and unfriendly in there interaction.

Do not go there no matter how much you are tempted. The service and attitude towards customers was appalling. In my long wait in the shop I saw them rude and aggressive to elderly people wanting to pay a bill, to a young mum with little kids in toe and even a disabled guy in a wheelchair enquiring about the nbn. The support I received was so bad I rang Telstra while I was in the shop waiting and got a supervisor on the phone and even he was horrified with what they told me. He asked me to give my phone to the staff member so he could talk to them and they refused! I got their names for him so he could lookup their staff numbers and report them. Typically there was no store manager on and no one wanted to claim being in charge. I was there to sign forms and eventually the guys on the phone just did a work around for me so I could leave. Pretty bad when even the company can't believe how bad a store is. As a side note I don't blame the staff, it's a crappy job in an extremely bad culture where nearly all stores are franchises on really bad deals and the franchisees are generally ruthless as a result and the staff retention is incredibly low so their training is inadequate and the system antiquated. Even the internet in a telstra store is so bad the staff can't do their jobs and are left on hold internally when they have to call for approvals. No other company in the country could get away with this and still be in business. It's time the monopoly ended and shareholders hold management accountable or lose their investment in the inevitable crash of Telstra. The minute there's an alternative, customers will leave by the thousands. I never write reviews but this was so bad I had to.

Is this the best Telstra store in Australia? Every time I go there I'm seen within 2 minutes. All questions are answered with patience and respect. The staff have all the answers and present professionally. Thanks Taylor and Tracy for tracking down my handset in such a speedy manner. Great work. The owner and team need to win an industry award. Renewed my faith in Telstra. Thanks!

My daughter got a phone a new contract with telstra store in kawana. Lovely when new customer but not so helpful when the phone is a lemon and your having hardware issues. Totally fobbed off and told to go home and factory restore or download latest update or go see Apple advising not their problem. We have 3 phones and contracts with them. They have lost 3 customers. Will never deal with them again. Kawana telstra gives telstra a bad name. FYI- spoke to Apple and they said Apple is responsible but the store should of facilitated the repair proceedings and advised customers on how they go about getting their phones sorted under warranty. No advise was given by telstra store but maybe they are not clued enough to give direction. Customer service is really poor

Came here on Boxing Day to get a new sim for my new phone and waiting outside the shop along with 30 other people for the 10:30 opening time as stated on the opening time sign for public holidays but did not open. Waited until 11 and still not open. Very annoyed that a sign telling us the actual Christmas period opening times and couldn’t find it online anywhere either. A lot of the people went to Optus a few stores down which was actually open as stated in their opening times. I will be taking my business to another Telstra shop as sadly I’m in a contract with them for two years otherwise I would be going to Optus as well.
