December 21st 3:15pm I visited the elegant and lovely Big W at Kawana Shopping World to run some errands and complete my Christmas shopping. Upon my arrival I was greeted by the kind, respectful and helpful young gentleman Fergus.nnI questioned the young man on what was selling popular for the kids for Christmas, he swiftly and kindly suggested what all the popular items were available. I was able to complete my shopping much faster than I expected and get some free time.nnTo whoever the manager is, you have made an excellent choice hiring this bright young man and I was incredibly happy with how good my visit was.
Seriously how hard is it to be helpful as staff. Spent an hour in there all up had to ask 3 different people where batteries were and then get to the check out to try and test the lights to see if they’ll work and nobody has a screwdriver. I don’t have a screwdriver either so complete waste of time and thank god I didn’t pay and check out but had only scanned the items and had to leave everything seriously such a waste and disappointment
Highly disappointingnAttempted to return an $800 item and was turned back due to the packaging being torn on one side. Torn from removing a sticker to open the packing.nnI was hoping for better from a company that states they have ‘A return policy you can trust’
I used to think Big W was one of the lower places to shop, but the more time I spend here, my opinion changes. I just love the lady they have who greets you when you walk in, she even let me snap a picture with her today. Highly recommended department store. Check out my full review at googlereviewqueen.com
Service Desk lady was extremely rude and passive aggressive not listening at all, I tried to return a vacuum or even get a new one or literally anything for something that is under warranty and broken not sucking and she didn’t even look into it because the vacuum had “some” crap in the head and that was my problem apparently when in reality it actually just doesn’t suck with or without the head! She wouldn’t even test what I was saying wasn’t working.nThe black decker vacuum didn’t last and the lady I got wasn’t pleasant at all to work with.nThe management team if you can reach out to them or they reach out to you are great to work with and help resolve any issues, they helped resolve this.
