December 21st 3:15pm I visited the elegant and lovely Big W at Kawana Shopping World to run some errands and complete my Christmas shopping. Upon my arrival I was greeted by the kind, respectful and helpful young gentleman Fergus.nnI questioned the young man on what was selling popular for the kids for Christmas, he swiftly and kindly suggested what all the popular items were available. I was able to complete my shopping much faster than I expected and get some free time.nnTo whoever the manager is, you have made an excellent choice hiring this bright young man and I was incredibly happy with how good my visit was.
Highly disappointingnAttempted to return an $800 item and was turned back due to the packaging being torn on one side. Torn from removing a sticker to open the packing.nnI was hoping for better from a company that states they have ‘A return policy you can trust’
I used to think Big W was one of the lower places to shop, but the more time I spend here, my opinion changes. I just love the lady they have who greets you when you walk in, she even let me snap a picture with her today. Highly recommended department store. Check out my full review at googlereviewqueen.com
Seriously how hard is it to be helpful as staff. Spent an hour in there all up had to ask 3 different people where batteries were and then get to the check out to try and test the lights to see if they’ll work and nobody has a screwdriver. I don’t have a screwdriver either so complete waste of time and thank god I didn’t pay and check out but had only scanned the items and had to leave everything seriously such a waste and disappointment
Today while I was at Big W kawana waters with my kids I was directed by the lady at the counter ho tk service desk and change the jeans. When me and my kids went to service desk the lady at desk was so rude with us and speaking so rudely with my kids. Definetly she did not like her job and top of voice speaking loudly hurting my son’s ear. She literally said hey can you come here and then my said you can you be respectful to my mum?nnPeople if you don’t like job please don’t do it yuh had bad day please stay at home and same she was rude and descriminatuve with me and my kidsnBut the lady at Counter Helen was so good and nice she apologised when I said about it that being treated like this today 07.02.2025- 1445 pm
