Limited range of lots of stuff. Many departments but any given department might be limited to a few square meters of shelf space. Therefore actual range of goods is annulled. e.g. If you want engine oil there is one single product but if you want seat belt protectors, don't even bother looking. If you want tech go to a tech store. If you want specialist go to a specialist store. These guys are actually getting worse at it.
Don't pay for anything online and select 'click and collect'. It's a complete waste of time. I paid for an item that was in stock at the store. Waited 5 hours, still not text to pick it up. Went to the store, and the staff told me that, even though the item is sitting ten feet away from us both, and I have paid for it, I can't have it until 4pm, because that's when they send out the collect texts.nWhat is the point of click and collect? It is a completely redundant process...nUpdate: they sold the item today and cancelled my order. Worst customer service that I can remember. I'm done with Big W...
I’ve just left the store where I was served at the service desk by Luke who was very obliging and professional. I later witnessed him deal with a child’s drink spillage and the stressed Mum. Luke and his female colleague were so kind and courteous. Well done
Went to kawana big w and employees were caught by other people throughout the day just not putting the Pokemon stock out for people to buy. Pretty sure employees aren’t allowed to just hold stock so they can buy it for themselves. Also they set a different restriction on the limit of packs you can buy which was 1 pack per person compared to plaza big w letting you buy 5 packs per person, not sure why they aren’t following the company wide policy but its just unfair.
I used to think Big W was one of the lower places to shop, but the more time I spend here, my opinion changes. I just love the lady they have who greets you when you walk in, she even let me snap a picture with her today. Highly recommended department store. Check out my full review at googlereviewqueen.com
