Great place to buy booze but can be a little overwhelming when looking for a particular bottle of wine when the only thing you know about that vile stuff is that there's red and white. Anyway, it was for a gift and I suppose if any bottle shop is going to stock it, it would be Dan Murphy's.
It's a Dan's - heaps of variety, good ample parking, and helpful staff.
Great range of wines, not always easy to find, is awesome when asking a staff member who knows the wine you are talking about, but very frustrating when giving another staff member the name and maker of a particular wine, and they have no idea what you are talking about. For example a Botrytis Semillon, and they ask is it a red or white, or a sparkling wine.
