Do NOT go to this salon. If I could give them 0 stars I would. I had my hair ruined at this place. I used a box dye at home and had a slight green tinge to my hair. All I needed was a colour correction yet they dyed it deep dark red I have light blonde hair! I made her bleach bath it out on the spot. They asked me to come back in a few days to fix it yet it was still a very bad job. Ended up fixing my hair myself as they destroyed it twice.The entire time I was blamed for using a box dye and they gathered in the back to gossip about me and how it was all my fault. These ladies are supposedly professional colourists. I was still charged $135 for destroying my hair. Do NOT go here!!
Booking a time doesn't actually mean that's when you will get seen. I was walking past with just under 10 min till my booking when I heard the lady at the counter say to a gentleman "we can fit you in now if you like" it wasn't until I came back I realised they had put him in before me so my 1.30 booking became a 2.00. Hair cut was nothing special. I won't be back.
Professional stylists, Personal Guarantee, what a joke!!! You are far from it. When a client shows a photo of a color they want and a price is agreed on a Professional Stylist and Salon honors that price. A Professional Business and Stylist doesn't charge more half way through the process because they mucked up, and when the client cant pay the extra you are now wanting to charge, your Professional Stylist didn't own her mistake on the pricing and allowed your client to walk out of your Professional Hair Salon with yellow hair. You are far from Professional shame on you.Service: Hair coloring
Very disappointed and wish I had read the reviews before going in. I have never felt the need to give a bad review however when I walked out I felt worse than what I did going in. I asked for length just below the shoulder and some layering. My hair was much shorter than I asked, the sides are extremely uneven and the layers are chuncked out and not blended at all. To say I am upset is an under statement. I feel like I essentially paid someone $50 to wreck my hair and now need to pay someone else to correct it. Terribly sorry but I definitely wouldn't ever go back... Absolutely devasted
Booked a week in advance still had to wait over 30mins. Then they had a locolm hair dresser. I have never hated a hair cut in my life like I did from here. Style cut was just a blunt hack job that took too much length away, no style, no shape, and only after the fact could I see what they did. So terribly disappointed. Will never go there again. They then charged me $20 above the quote made an hour previously. I might as well have gone to a $30 just cuts service at least I would have got what I paid for. Grrrrrrrrrrrr!!
Showed the hairdresser the exact look I wanted and walked out with a flat colour that is at least four shades darker than I wanted. When I said I wasn't happy with it, she said that it was what I told her - even after I showed her the picture again. So rude and so rough. I should've just done it from box colour to get the same result and saved $140. Never again.
No appointment, was looked after right away. Amazingly friendly staff. Super happy with end result, beautiful red to blonde ombre with very little hair cut off as requested. Was charged under quoted amount. Never been this happy with a haircut in my life and will most definitely be returning!
I rang to speak with someone about booking for myself and a friend to get a upstyle done for an event we were attending, but the lady whom i spoke with was so rude and it seemed her time was to precious to be spent speaking on the phone to answer my questions. And she made me feel stupid for the asking questions! Definitely not making a booking!!!
I wished I had thought to read reviews before I went there, worst experience I have ever had with a hairdresser, I've never felt the need to give a bad review before going to curtis hair at Westfield Helensvale but I definitely recommend NOT going here Ever. I wanted a trim, my layers thinned out a little and an all over colour on brown hair, he spent more time on the phone than paying attention to my needs as a potential return customer, there were 2 staff on at the time of my application, one of which who was standing around doing absolutely nothing and one that was supposed to be doing my hair, I still don't understand why the guy doing nothing couldn't answer the phone? 1. He cut my long hair to my just below my shoulders, chunked out my layers and made them very blunt and unblended 2. He managed to NOT cover my roots or my grey hairs and I still look like I have regrowth and my ends are multicoloured 3. I paid for a blow dry but all it was was a dry off, I walked out feeling gutted and worse than I did when I walked in. $160 I was charged and now I need to pay somebody else to fix it. Totally deviated and disappointed
