I love going to the cafe in the Botanic gardens.  Set in such a peaceful place one cannot but enjoy it.  The owner and staff are friendly and very willing to oblige customers.  I adore the sparrows (being a bird lover) and wish people would relax and appreciate the surroundings.  So much better than the busyness of city life.  I always try to go there soon after opening, as lunch time is very popular.  Lets give more positive feedback.

Completely messed the order up. Food arrived with different contents. Finally got a pizza that they forgot after 45 mins to find it covered in hot chilli sauce instead of mild sweet chilli. Poor effort in a very nice place.

Staff are rude and need to do a customer host course. Almost felt like I had inconvenienced them by ordering.  The place smelt like a dirty old fish and chip shop.
Muffin was expensive, not cooked properly and bland.
Wouldn't go back. One star for great location.

Very disappointed with the cafe and staff lack of knowledge of selling and displaying Gluten Free slices. I pointed out to them that the GFree items should not be on the same plate as the slices containing gluten.They were even touching. The same tongs were even used on the GF items.I complained to the chap in charge and explained that my Brother and I both have Coeliac Disease, the importance of having no gluten is medical. The staff didn't have any idea,he did advice me that he told the Cook. This is a basic thing the food handlers/owners should know.Also the Bliss Ball we purchased was inedible.Food and coffee expensive, coffee slow to be made,decor very dated.This place could be humming as the gardens is a big tourist attraction.I don't think I'd go back.

Lovely iced mocha not too sweet and full of caffeine. Great spot for a cafe too.
