Breakfast is a favourite part of our business.

We are within 5-minutes' walk from all of the motels north of the city centre.

The Good Earth offers high quality organic Vegetarian meals plus a wide variety of Pacific Fusion, Western, Gluten Free, Dairy free, Vegan, and Bakery delights.

The Good Earth Cafe is proud to offer locally- roasted Fair Trade coffee, made by our highly- trained baristas who are passionate about every cup they pour.

Had been ro the Good Earth Cafe because of the good reviews it has and also because of its heritage building history.nMy experience was okay with the coffee as i know what good coffee tastes like so.nHad order scrambled eggs which was good also Pumpkin soup which was okay again.nThe interior is so classy i liked the vibe the place has.overall i liked tge place as its cossy and good.

In Dunedin for Masters Games and googled cafes for breakfast. The Good Earth had a rating of 4.4/5. So 8 of us dined inside the first time we visited. The service was great we decided to dine there again. It was a nice sunny day, so decided to dine outside in the courtyard which had such a lovely atmosphere. Our group was impressed with the very fast service of our coffees on both visits considering it was very busy. The staff were great, friendly and helpful.nnThe food ordered was absolutely delicious, the guys loved every bite. Nice and flavoursome!nnThis is also a great cafe for vegan/vegatarian and gluten free options. There were lots of tasty options available! It was a little on the pricey side but totally worth it. Will definitely dine here again next time in Dunedin

Very cute café which has a large morning rush. Service was still reasonably quick but staff weren't accommodating to any changes to tables to fit a group of 6, even though there were tables available.nnThere was no high-chair available for children.nnFood portion sizes were decently large but rather average in terms of taste, eggs overcooked and such.

Great place! Good views, friendly service, cosy atmosphere. Had the eggs benedict superb and turmeric chickpea fritter on ciabatta mid, the fritter had an unpleasantly bitter taste - tahini? - and there was an overabundance of salad. Hot choccies were excellent.

What a treat on a chilly morning. Best big breakfast my husband has had, and my eggs were delish. Loved they have a dairy free menu. Staff were friendly and accommodating.nIt's a bustling, busy cafe, a tad noisy with wooden floors, but that didn't bother us. It was a perfect choice.
