No complaints. Nice ambiance, great and fast service. Decent sized menu with a good sized bar. The bar staff and chefs were all very friendly. Looking forward to trying more of their lunch menu. One star lost only because they didn't have battered fish, and I'm not a big fan of crumbed. Plus I really felt like battered fish, other than that, good place to eat.
I had been to the Woolloongabba Craft Beer and Grill when they first opened several times and they were great! I don't know what happened in 2 months but there has been a dramatic shift in both service and quality. They only had one person taking orders as well as serving, they ran out of coke zero who runs out of coke zero?, they ran out of the lunch time steaks so they ended up giving us better steaks at their cost of course, they ran out of gravy so they substituted with regular bottled bbq sauce and when we asked for gravy they made up gravy which looked and tasted horrible! One of us ordered a basic hotdog which came out long after the steaks came out. None of the steaks were cooked to how we ordered. One of us ordered the chicken burger and it came out with zero chicken? And list goes on and on. We work locally and want to support local business, BUT WE WILL NOT BE GOING BACK!!!!
Worst Experience Ever We dined in for lunch on a Friday and were given a menu. We had to ask for the drinks menu, then when we ordered the drinks the items on the menu were not available. Same with lunch, we wanted to order the $10 lunch specials seeing as it was lunch time but we were told these were unavailable. We then ordered from the regular menu and the waiter had to come back and confirm one of the orders. The chef was yelling at the waiter that there were only 4 orders and 5 people at our table, had he taken the order correctly, this was making it uncomfortable to be in the restaurant with an arguing chef and waiter. The first two meals were brought out BLCAT stacker. Both of these meals were missing the grilled chicken and one plate had a dead fly on it while the other plate had fly larvae on it. Once sent back to the kitchen the plate had been changed but it was still the same meal and still missing the grilled chicken. A burger was next to come out however, this was a Gabba Chicken burger and a Chicago Supreme Burger was ordered. After sending this one back to the kitchen more abuse between the chef and the waiter was exchanged such as “are you sure this is what they have ordered”. A lasagne and chicken wrap were next to come out, the lasagne had been heated in the microwave and was hot and no issues with the wrap. Still waiting for the last meal to come out after an hour we walked out and went next door to Ribs and Burgers where we enjoyed a lovely lunch with great service. I would never go back to CRAFT beer and grill it was the worst experience ever, I had never walked out of a restaurant so disgusted.
This was one of the worst dining experiences I have encountered. First time I have ever walked out of restaurant. Menu was different to what could actually be served, beer menu was different to what was actually servable. First dish came out with a dead fly on the plate. Second dish came out without any meat on the burger. When first dish was replaced, there was still no meat on the burger. Third dish ok. Fourth dish came out completely incorrect. Chef and service staff were arguing in front of us & made situation extremely awkward. Terrible service & will never be back.
Used to work here. And they went well for a month then I don't know what happened to them.they are all mismanaged and have rarely 3 staffs.and I haven't got paid for more than a month now. Haven't been to this kind of place in my life. Really sucks
As locals, we've been to this location twice and really enjoyed each meal!! Good choice of beer on tap and really yummy food!
Food arrived half cooked and lukewarn, got chips instead of onion rings, and the patties on the burgers barely took up half of the burger.
Looking forward to the grand opening of this place. A lot of hard work and planning has gone into it so far. Menu is looking great also!
Never went but it's no longer open, they are being evicted I don't know the reasoning but saw the sign on the door
Need to hire more staff that work behind the bar.
