We had a really lovely time here. The food is stunning, the drinks are wonderful. There was a little mix-up with our drinks, but staff were truly cool about sorting it out. The setting is comfortable and lovely, and the menu covers every dietary requirement with aplomb. So there's something for everyone here. They will happily cover large groups too, you just have to book.
Had Xmas work party here. What a quirky venue. Bar tender know what he's doing. Has outside and inside areas for variety. Great tapas style food.
3.5 - Great ambiance, not too loud and staff were attentive. Food also came out promptly without long waiting times. We tried the: Kaarage calamari - delicious, not too heavg and the sauce was amazing Fried crumbed haloumi - another beautiful dish, can't go wrong with haloumi. Nice touch with pickled vegetables Corn ribs - quite underwhelming and messy to eat, wished they removed the cob Korean wings - pretty bland and wasn't enough sauce Apple & rhubarb crumble - overall dish was too sour for my liking
The Canvas Club has a nice atmosphere inside, well decorated and full of life. No food was tried, so I can’t comment on that. The cocktails were your usual, with a nice twist. The drinks menu and selection were probably better sounding than the actual drink though. For $22 average, you get this amazingly described cocktail with 7-10 ingredients. One little stir, and it’s just a mash of flavour with nothing sticking out. Go for the vibe and bring your bank card.
Absolutely superb. Beautiful bar, delicious cocktails, lovely staff. Will definitely be back for this particular cocktail Mexican... something can't remember.
We had our wedding party in the Tailors room and it was absolutely perfect! The staff were all so attentive, friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Food was fantastic.. our guests raved about the calamari! It was exactly what we wanted. Thanks again Canvas club!!
Stumbled upon this place one night and so glad I did! Friendly faces and service throughout the night from the moment we entered. Great cocktail list, plenty options available. Food menu was also great. My partner and I shared 5 dishes and that was enough for a light meal. Definitely will come back!
We came here for a staff party and James was exceptional! 10/10 service and so much knowledge of the bar products and cocktail list. The whole team had a great night, thank you Canvas Club!
Excellent staff, the people who looked after us were hilarious and knowledgeable in menu and drink options which were delicious. Music and ambiance on point. Overall an excellent experience. Cherry on top of the evening was destroying* my friend at uno. *creative license
Vibrant place with exciting dinner options. Plates made to share and portions are excellent. The cocktails menu is extensive with some interesting drinks. The service can be improved as we found some staff to be judgmental to people that don’t fit their standard clientele - which I believe is mature couples that come to drink and not eat. We had a few uncomfortable discussion with the staff when we mentioned that we didn’t come to drink but to eat tapas.
