Had a 30th at the Aussie national over the weekend and hire the venue upstairs. Staff where friendly and so easy to talk to regarding setting up etc. huge area dance floor, do booth 2x lounge areas your own smokers area and even a reception desk at the front before they can enter inside. Will definitely be back again.
Nice location and really friendly staff. COVID Safe. Went to catchup with a mate, have a few beers and take turns betting on a few horses. It had been awhile since I'd placed a bet and it wasn't just thy bar staff that were friendly, the team processing your bets were also very friendly AND patient!
Great for a quick working lunch stop and a pint.
Good big size pub with plenty of parking good selection of meals and 17 different beers on tap. Pokies room, smoking dosa, upstairs function room for both private functions and public, big TAB set up, always found it clean and fantastic service with the bar staff. Not to mention Dan Murphys is right next door.
A bunker on the outside but better in. But who goes to a pub for the architecture anyway? Beer was cold, crowd was good. I couldn't drink and smoke at the same time, but that's not their fault
Great old Brissie pub close to the Gabba. Excellent selection of cold beer on tap.
Aussie nash hotel. Good for cricket build up. Across the road at Gabba . Good meals nice atmosphere

Briefly there after a car breakdown and the patrons were extremely helpful..... looks like a great place to have a beer
