Beef ramen is my favorite! A nice place for lunch! I come here every week. The food is tasty and the staff is nice.
This restaurant/coffee shop is open just about every day of the year and all the food is freshly prepared and delicious! It also caters for people who prefer a basket of hot chips or deep fried dim sims as well as the many who appreciate original Japanese as well as some Chinese cuisine. A healthy selection of both cold and hot dishes. Absolutely delicious and very reasonably priced Vegetarian options: Obviously the availability of sushi means that you can be vegetarian or vegan and have a big meal! There are also numerous hot dishes where you can choose to add or omit eggs, chicken, pork, beef, etc. Kid-friendliness: It is a family friendly restaurant/cafe. Especially as the lovely chefs and staff are Asian, a culture which loves tiny tots. There are high chairs available. And the fact that there are no table cloths means that if your little ones make a mess ! or you knock something over! it’s easy fixed !! Parking: There is plenty of parking especially on the roof of the Buranda Shopping Village and there are both an elevator and a travelator to get down to the ground floor. So also wheelchair accessible! There is no parking fee . And there is not the same parking angst which you encounter at the various Westfield Shopping Centres. Wheelchair accessibility: If you are in a wheelchair or you use some walking aid, you will be easily accommodated. The staff are happy to move tables and chairs around to ensure you are comfortable. There is a disabled toilet just a moment away, too Dietary restrictions: IF you have any allergies it is ALWAYS wise to check, no matter WHERE you go, whether or not dishes contain egg, peanuts, or whatever it is you are allergic to. IF in doubt, the safest option is always to go somewhere where the chefs are willing to guarantee you will not have an anaphylactic reaction.
I love coming here with my dad when i go for a shop. the food is delicious, cooked from scratch and well priced. a lovely little restaurant with awesome staff. I’m glad places like this are still around. it’s family friendly as well, there are high chairs provided for little ones.
The sushi is terrible, dry and obviously old products were used or plates were sitting too long before being bought out. Servers are rude and the food did not look anything like the menus. Very disappointed as sushi is my favourite food and this experience very much put me off it for a while.

AVOID THIS SUSHI SHOP APART FROM THE FACT THAT THEY DO NOT PAY HONEST TRADES PEOPLE THAT DO HONEST WORK. This shop's kitchen is so dirty we are reporting them to the council and health department. Our staff member felt sick when he walked out of the kitchen after clearing a blocked drain. They are a disgrace this is not the way things are done in Australia. AVOID!!!
I regularly sit in one of the welcoming booths at Sunny Doll. I have my favourite choice of sushi there so often that the friendly staff recognise me and anticipate my order. The food is tasty and fresh and the place is clean. Whenever I go shopping, it's my "go-to" place to enjoy a snack. Kid-friendliness: This is in a shopping centre and I often see children in the restaurant. Parking: This is in Buranda shopping centre so there's lots of parking available. Wheelchair accessibility: The whole centre is on the ground floor
We came in for lunch and ordered the Miso based Beef Ramen, caterpillar rolls and sunset rolls. Our food was so fresh, deli's and quick! I've also never seen a ramen so big! We will be back!
I ordered Egg Katchu pork rice, and Egg Boiled pork rice was delivered. They delivered wrong menu. Also I ordered Double Prown roll, very bad quality & small size you can hardly call it a roll. Lastly, no utensils for a delivery menu. Both tasted bad, below standard. I always give good review, but this restaurant.
I wouldn’t eat here, I’ve done work here recently in the kitchen and it’s filthy. It made me physically sick to work in the kitchen and the owners don’t pay hard working trades people for their time and would rather rip them off. I can’t imagine how their own staff are paid, if this is how they treat tradies who work at their store.
