Massive delays of when the appointment is made to when you are actually seen or mentioned by anyone. Too much overbooking rather then understanding that they have a limit of staff for clientele booked
Leaving was the best thing I ever did. After years of attending this practice I'd finally had enough of the incompetent and rude staff. Was never greeted by my name, they look at the desk when they are supposedly serving you, and they LOST or "WE NEVER GOT THAT" when it came to virtually ALL of my medical records. Which has severely compromised my health care. The doctors are ok but the receptionists are a bunch of misfits who really should not work in a place where their incompetence can affect your health.
My daughter had an appointment at 9am. She was early 830. She was told there was one person before her. She explained that she had to be at work at a certain time. 2 hours she sat in that waiting room for. I understand that emergency are priority but to leave someone sitting there for 2 hours after their appointment time is wrong, staff could approach and let them know that there is a delay. Being new to the workforce has put her in a hard position as she made the appointment with plenty of time but ended up being late. She didn't even have 2 mins with the Dr and then had to wait for the nurses for her immunisation. Not happy!
Thanks to Dr. Joan Chamberlain and the team at Northside Medical Centre for making my baby’s vaccines a positive experience. Staff were able to answer all my questions and did their best to make his injections as quick and painless for him as possible. We have had appointments with varying G.P.s at the practice over time and have always been impressed by the way they listen to and care about their patients and would definitely recommend Northside Plaza Medical Centre and its sister practice City Centre Plaza Medical Centre to others.
I had to wait 45mins after my appointed time which I thought was a bit much. I really wouldn’t have minded that much if my doctor had been helpful at all. I asked for my immunisation history for which she told me she couldn’t get for me. Then proceeded to google search a number for me to call. I called that number only for them to tell me to call two other numbers which then told me my GP should be able to get all the documents for me. Well I have placement tomorrow and could’ve had all of this sorted out last Friday. Called the doctors in Yeppoon at Hill Street Medical Centre and the nurses were able to get my forms all filled out with my immunisation history within 2hours and I didn’t even need an appointment. Very disappointed in CQ medicentre northside plaza.
Dr Chamberlain has been my family doctor since I was a young child. I am now 25 and still continue to see her. She is such a lovely lady and everyone at this practice is friendly and professional. I have never had a bad experience.
Every time I come in for my appointment, I am never seen on time. I have never been seen earlier then an hour past my scheduled appointment time. I’m only happy with the friendly service of the staff and doctors.
If I was able to give this place 1000 stars I would I LOVE HOW IF I CANT SEE DR CHAMBERLAIN AT NORTH SIDE PLAZA MEDICAL that I can just make the appointment to see her at Southside instead she is my number 1 doctor she has been my hero for most of my teens and now as a adult I don't really like seeing anyone else but her and everyone knows me, so when I walk in they are always like u are free to sit down and I don't even have to say a thing I just have to make sure they see me because I am so god damn short,
Immediately, an error although they adertise bulk billing. The reception informs me no tbey dont.
Wife sees Dr Monica, but she does not listen to patients ailments. Seems to go off on own tangent.
