Dr. Kitchen and his staff are friendly, very professional and easy to talk to. Dr. Kitchen is a brilliant eye surgeon who gets the job done quickly and efficiently.  The procedure is pain free and over before you know it. The longest time is spent waiting while the pre op drops do their thing and this is completely necessary to ensure you do have that pain-free experience.  All the nursing staff are wonderful, and the wait is worth it I can assure you.  I would not go anywhere else.

My daughter was recently referred to Dr David Kitchen. From the moment we walked in we were greeted by the friendly reception staff, followed by the doctors assistant who was kind and understanding as my daughter was very nervous. Dr Kitchen came in and was fantastic with her! He made her feel comfortable and at ease during the consultation and with the treatment needed. Thank you Dr Kitchen and staff.

Extraordinary wait times. Over an hour. Spoke to staff, none of them were shocked or surprised, one said "Oh yeah, a heap of assistants left early." In the most nonchalant and "this is normal" tone of voice. I was then told i was next to be seen, I wasnt. After an hour and 15 minutes I just got up and left.

I recently had Cataract surgery & found the staff very friendly, professional & knowledgeable, a credit to the company. Hillcrest Hospital staff also fantastic to deal with.  Highly recommend Dr Kitchen.

Starting with the young woman who led me to the examination room, then stood silently staring at me completely creeping me out, it was an unpleasant experience from beginning to end . Dr Kitchen is an arrogant man with delusions of godhood! He says “other doctors wouldn’t treat this but I will. “ At that point I should have run out screaming but I stupidly allowed myself to be railroaded into unnecessary treatment. The only chance I had for a second opinion was a 2 minute consultation with Dr Google! I had needles put in my eye - possibly not needed and part of my retina burned with a laser. Now I am struggling to do the reading I need to prepare for work. I wish I had never gone anywhere near that place.

Would never go back, went in the next day for a check up and the Receptionist asked for a Medicare card and when I asked why she said it was for follow-up care....what a hide this practice has, follow-up care is meant to be included in the outrageous price that they charge. Very expensive out of pocket charges.

Would avoid & seek advice elsewhere. If unsure go to Brisbane & get any procedures required. This guy only worried about lining his pockets. Take my advice & seek advice Elsewhere! Just to give you an idea an Chalazion  removal here cost me over $1800 & i had to redo as it came back. Had it done at Brisbane the cost was $300. This guy is the ultimate rippoff

Lovely staff.  Pathetic the amount of time one spends waiting for an appointment on arrival.  Our time is important to us as well, should receive a bit of service for the amount of money charged.

I cannot speak highly enough of Dr Kitchen, thorough and extremely professional. Excellent service from the moment I came in for my appointment.

Dr David Kitchen is very thorough with his examination and procedures. Dr David Kitchen is definetly a shot above the rest.
