Worst doctors experience of my entire life. Went to seek help came out sobbing in tears. Was referred to a psychologist and then lectured by the male doctor when I simply requested to see a female psychologist. The words used were “men, woman we’re all the same”. I’m sorry but if an experienced doctor cannot connect the dots as to why a young woman would only want to open up to another woman he should not be one. Cannot even begin to explain the absolute let down I felt by not only the doctors but staff in this place.
This has been our family GP practice for 6 years. Excellent medical care, helpful admin and nursing staff, fair billing practices. Highly recommended.
I can't speak to others bad experiences/reviews, however I see Dr Kamal and she is always helpful, listens, and explains things well. I usually only wait 5-10mins for app, if at all which considering most drs this is great. I've never had issue with reception staff either, if they aren't overly friendly mood they're definitely not rude.
Travelling through Rockhampton, won’t take new patients and those who are not vaccinated. Maybe skip this practice as it’s clear they are a little behind on actual medical experience given they are frightened of people who have not chosen to have the jab. Last I checked everyone is entitled to medical treatment. Receptionist was also rude…. Judging by other reviews maybe you need to have an assessment of your business and practices…just a suggestion.
Been going there a few years and finally decided to leave. Dr Afrin has consistently screwed up my scripts. Chemists have sent me away plenty of times, I've had to sit and relay instructions over the phone to help her fix it, and finally she gets petty and says I can find another doctor. Best advice she's given me!

I had good experience when I visited for covid vaccine. I found them with good care and cordial support.
Told to wait in a hot shed in 35 degree heat out the back of the practice. Was told the doctor would come out and see me. He left me waiting over 35 mins unattended feeling unwell only to ring me and say he would consult over the phone. Disgusted....why not allow someone to stay in their air-conditioned vehicle..or at home.
Dr Afrin has been my family’s Dr for a long time. She is very patient and professional when all the examinations and I feel she always listen to what we need her to resolve our health concerns.
Been there more than a few times.. No care for patients. The way they talked is very aggressive. When I tried to explain to them what's happening, they wouldn't listen.
