I have been to my fair share of skin clinics around New Zealand and have been treated by beauty therapists, nurses and dermatologists. After several appointments and interactions with different staff members, I have to say something about their attitude and professionalism and it takes a lot for me to write a negative review. The specialist I went to on Courtenay place was rude and barked at me during the consult. She wiped off my eye makeup (unnecessary with type of treatment) and got product up my nose, mouth and in my hairline. I have never had someone wipe my face so abruptly or tell me how experienced they are when I tell them I'm in pain or open my mouth to say anything. Bear in mind I have been getting treatments for years so I have a fair understanding of prices and amount of care and skill usually taken. I've now had 4 different types of treatments done here and can confirm they take top industry dollar and do rush jobs. Bottom line is - staff lack respect for clients and don't really listen or care about their skin history, skin goals or specific skin needs. Their customer service is appalling and the reply they gave to the last review is proof of their unprofessionalism and passive aggressiveness. Spend your money elsewhere and get treated with respect and care you deserve.

Truly great costumer service. I wanted to order products from them and had difficulties on my side when trying to transfer money from my out-of-country bank account. The patiently answered all my questions and stayed in contact until everything was sorted out.

I have had a mixed standard of service from this company. The last time I had a booking with them it needed to be changed due to their internal training, which was fine with me. When I went in to my rebooked appointment (the external trainer had made the rebooking over the phone with me as the staff weren't there when I phoned them back to organise another appointment). I was told by the beauty therapist that the four treatment deal I had booked in for originally had now expired and that the computer system no longer recognised this special (which was a lie as I have personally used the Kitomba system they use and know that the system doesn't just forget a special because it is past it's expiry date) and as such I was not eligible for the bundle I had originally booked in for. Even if what I was told about the system was true this should not have been even pointed out to me. I would not recommend this company and prefer to use Wellington Cosmetic Clinic now as they not only offer the majority of the same treatments (plus dental) at more affordable prices but their staff are qualified nurses and dentists rather than beauty therapists.

Not a spa, but a quiet, clean clinic with friendly professionals. Prices are prob best in Wellington for facials. I went there when I first moved to wellington. It really is more of a specialised clinic rather than a spa, so do not expect spa music and water fountains. My clinician was chatty when I was and very professional and quiet as I started to relax and tune out. She did a microdermabrasion treatment & light glycolic peel. She actually gave me a slight discount as I'd only booked for microderm originally. Once of the best facials I've had in a while!
