It is gorgeous. I usually dnt easily rate places providing services with a 5 star rating. But, this store worth it. Huge store. Plenty of options available including some options which u may not notice in a usual Countdown store such as a cafeteria, and a sushi shop. It is opened till midnight and that is what is a standout again. Plenty of onsite parking available. Self checkout service is available. I don't know how good their customer service is because I never wanted to seek assistance. This rating is for the store and how it is presented and maintained. But, if u visit closer to midnight, then the place would not be that convenient as they are doing night filling. So, boxes are all-over the place.
I dare say this is one of the "better Countdowns in the area. ambience, Its well stocked and generally has plenty of parking also has a soft plastic recycling bin, I like that!! I am shocked that we disposed of our soft plastics in the general waste which would eventually end up in landfill, but then again there is so much awareness today, and it makes me so happy that most of my soft plastics will end up as a fence post rather than in landfill. The bin by the way is always full so just collect it in a large plastic bag and place it by the side of the bin
They always have very beautiful flowers for purchase, great for gifting and events. The groceries are also a good price and though I liked it when they were 24hrs but it's a nice store, everything is nicely displayed and generally clean.

Christmas Eve is probably not the best day to do your regular week shopping. The staff have been so patient and tolerant. Wishing Countdown Greenlane staff a fantastic Christmas and New Year's
I like visiting this place. Nice clean place with plenty of options from bakery. Very good collection of wines and details about each wine type is what stands out for me. Ambience is very good. No issues with parking here. Very nice staff here. They have a chemist as well.
Why would you rate a supermarket? It's a supermarket??? They're the same??? THIS particular supermarket is not the same. THIS supermarket consistently has THE THING I want or need. On the rare occasion that it does not, it has something BETTER. I drive an extra 20 minutes to go specifically to THIS supermarket. Countdown Greenlane is Auckland's best countdown and nobody can change my mind.
We have moved on from the COVID pandemic and can't use that as an excuse for a lack of service anymore. You need to employ people to serve customers - whenever i go here it takes about 20 to 30 minutes to get to the front of the line as there are only ever 1 or 2 of 8 lines working. As well as being frustrating for everyone, the poor workers can't keep up and are having a rough time, just so that you can make slightly more profit for providing an essential service..
Is it the largest Countdown supermarket in Auckland? Certainly feels like it. Maybe the best planned with overall clear wayfinding directions. Great fruit and vegetables. Extensive meat and salad selection. Huge wine overview. Big bakery. A supermarket designed to supply family provisions.
Great stock, more variety than other branches. Always found something new in this branch
