This shop is ideally located in the CBD and offers a wide variety of ready-to-eat options, including sushi, salads, and baked goods. The place is clean and well-maintained, making for a pleasant shopping experience. I particularly love their salads; they offer many fresh and flavorful options.
Great store, lighting isn’t too overstimulating the stock is well displayed and organized. The environment is nice. I can focus on getting what I need and forget I’m in the city while shopping there.
Nice little grocery store near where I was staying Prince’s wharf. Fresh fruit and vegetables, ready made meals, small sections for all your needs. Not a lot of any one thing but enough. Prices were decent considering it’s in the CBD of a city.
Went in to buy some snacks for lunch. Bakery was a disgrace. Cabinet only half full. No small bags in the holder. Only two large bags left. Three tong holders and only one pair of tongs, 3-4 customers waiting just to use the tongs. All the store was a mess. Alcoholic drinks were in the same display cabinet as non alcoholic drinks. That was poor from a non drinkers point of view. I spoke to an Asian man with store manager on his badge and he told me he didn't work there but went into the bakery to get more bags.? This could be a very good store if managed well as it's a great location to hotels etc with lots of foot traffic. I also noticed the cafe by entrance was closed by 1.45pm. Disappointing for a store with lots of opportunities that aren't being taken advantage of.
New World Metro on Queen Street is a fantastic spot for quick grocery runs in the heart of Auckland. The store is well-organized, and I always find what I need, from fresh produce to household essentials. The staff is friendly and helpful, which makes the shopping experience even better. Despite being a smaller store, it has a surprisingly wide variety of products, including some unique items that are hard to find elsewhere. The location is super convenient, especially if you're in the city and need to grab something on the go. Highly recommended!
