The worst online grocery experience I’ve ever had. I placed an order on 1 December around lunchtime and received milk in the afternoon that expires on 3 December — only two days later. Absolutely shocking.nI also ordered Teriyaki Chicken on Rice and was charged $19.79, yet the price printed on the package was $12.99. On top of that, Uber Eats charged an additional service fee. When I contacted Uber Eats, they advised that the pricing is set by the store, not the app.nI tried calling New World Metro directly, but no one answered, and the duty manager line didn’t even have a voicemail option. Extremely disappointing customer service and an overall very unpleasant experience.
I know it is not the store's fault. But by god, someone needs to do something to the homeless convention outside the entrance.nThese people just swear at random customers for no reason, ultimately it is going to affect the store. I for one will be more comfortable to go to 4 Squre instead.
This shop is ideally located in the CBD and offers a wide variety of ready-to-eat options, including sushi, salads, and baked goods. The place is clean and well-maintained, making for a pleasant shopping experience. I particularly love their salads; they offer many fresh and flavorful options.
Needs more vegan and vegetarian options. Over the past 1-2 years the owner or manager has slowly removed most options leaving very little. Last thing to go was the hub vegan piesnTheres recently been a lot of flies in the store which is also off putting.nnStaff are nice
