Lots of parking. Place is clean. Staff are friendly. This countdown had undergone renovation not long ago. Look modern and well displayed. It has special aisles dedicated to gluten free, vegan and healthy foods. Open very earlier and close late. This is the main store to support the existence of Meadowbank shopping centre.
Only Countdown store in Meadowbank, which is big, has plenty of options in every section for good price. Open seven days a week. They also have great collection of wine in the beverage section if your looking for any type of Alocohol. Definitely a good place for grocery shopping.
Great for your basic shop.nUnfortunately, they don't take customer health and safety seriously. 10% of the population have an allergic reaction to latex despite this, and numerous calls and emails they refused to address this. I have given up on this store
It is very disappointing to find the products on the shelves arranged perfectly on labels with lower prices and when it comes to the checkout the price is totally different, even double.nThe supposed promotions are only apparent.nA piece of advice, when visiting these supermarkets, read all the labels carefully, do not assume that the price of the product is shown under just because it is below the product.
Always missing basic products, the men in produce have awful BO and the produce is often not fresh. Last week they were selling lettuce packed 2 weeks previous. I avoid this supermarket
