It's ok. I go because it's convenient more than anything. I quite often find that they are out of my favourite types of bread, milk, fruit, veg etc. There are still options but not what I'm looking for. I also look at dates a lot and quite often find some items are a lot closer to their best before dates they should be. But hey - I keep going back so they must be doing most things right. Edit: typical milk section photo added. Almost every time I go it's like this. Same as the bread section. Quite often go evenings and find this. But don't find my preferred milk (or it expires in two days if it is there)

Just OK... I used to shop here when I lived in Meadowbank many years ago, and back then everything seemed great. Big variety of items, and fresh produce and meat. Nowadays, whenever I go here some things just don't seem that fresh or ideal., particularly fruit and vegetables with is a shame. The store feels empty as compared to other busier Countdown stores (like Greenlane) and sometimes I see staff members mucking around. It's just OK, neither good nor bad.

Only Countdown store in Meadowbank, which is big, has plenty of options in every section for good price. Open seven days a week. They also have great collection of wine in the beverage section if your looking for any type of Alocohol. Definitely a good place for grocery shopping.

Food is plastic service. We now drive alot further for our groceries for fresh food at New World Lunn Ave. This used to be a great supermarket, so disappointing. Perhaps due to new owners... Darn there is no negative 🌟

The usual range of products is available. Shelves are usually well stocked. The staff are generally friendly and helpful. Plenty of parking available.
