Possibly the best Countdown I have ever visited. Very well stocked and extensive range. Spacious and well presented. Heaps of parking. Check out not very busy. Staff are very friendly and helpful.
They have struggled to provide good quality fruit and veg, nee to check receipt as often mistakes in their favour. Would not shop here if it was not so close to home

Unfortunately Countdown Beachlands has suffered a very sad decline right across the board in the last 12 months or more. I guess covid had a part to play in the gaps on the shelves but there is no excuse for the general scruffiness of the whole store. The outside trolley area is usually untidy and full of litter. The floor right through the supermarket needs a good clean. The quality of the produce is poor and the selection and presentation has declined. The milk supply seems erratic, not so much for the staple lines but if you use anything outside the basics supply is unreliable. The entire store just feels like it needs a good clean and a bit of a shake up. There are gaps on the shelves everywhere and the whole place just feels a bit uncared for. I was well aware of the steady decline since such a great first year or two but I'm just back from a week on Phillip Island, just south of Melbourne. It is a smallish community but has two full size supermarkets that put Countdown Beachlands to shame. If things don't improve markedly soon I will be using it for the quick trips only. I will be going elsewhere for my regular shops. I would like to hear a good reason for the decline and it may change my opinion but at present the place just feels unloved and uncared for. There are several better options not too far away.
Very spacious and not too crowded.
I like this countdown. It looks small bit has all the items And never disappointed with their customer service. Very friendly staff. Keep it up guys.
Staff are always lovely, but often there are no prices, or pricing is not accurate. Clean and organised and usually well stocked.
It's a nice place but hate the parking
