Story

With its cosy, welcoming ambience, Copperwood is one of the oldest restaurants on busy Lygon Street with a loyal clientele who regularly troop to this reasonably priced venue for its varied menu of traditional food that includes pizza, pasta and risotto as well as meat and seafood dishes. Deceivingly small from the outside, there's ample space inside, the staff are friendly and attentive and it's open late.

Great to see a restaurant that has not cut back on the quality and value of their food since covid!

Ive had this risotto when I was staying in Melbourne for a holiday. This was the best thing I’ve ever had... I miss this so much.

Food and service very good. No QR code on entry. When I asked staff about it , a photo copied page was produced to write my details on. No other names were on it despite the restaurant being pretty full. Not good enough! Won’t be back!

The low ballers must be on drugs or have the wrong address. Really enjoyed the food the atmosphere and the beverages. Well done team..thank you for an enjoyable evening

Awesome food, great atmosphere and great attention to detail

The food is very tasty and the portions are huge - I took half of mine home which fed me for another meal and my husband is a big eater who barely got through his. We both really enjoyed what we ordered and the owner and staff were delightful! The décor is lovely and moody and we look forward to returning.

Been there so many times they absolutely have failed to disappoint me amazing menu staff quality is more than 100% highly recommend this place if you don't want to get  disappointed well done for keeping your quality so great your lamb shank simply takes me back home 

Consistently great service and food! Usually we just go for a few pizzas but their tapas and pastas are great as well. Huge indoor dining area as well with a nice al fresco section too.
