Happy with service. Came in the morning to take my daughter to renew her passport.I had one person waiting in front of me, it didn’t take a long time to do the paperwork & picture taken. Came back by late afternoon @3pm for passport collection.Tip: bring exact amount of cash for the application,or you can buy things from the shop next to the building to get a spare change.Not easy to get a parking spot here, Queens Lane at the back of the building near Arthur street, or Wilson Parking in St Kilda Road is the closest.Friendly staff.

My application for certificate of good conduct stated that it was an invalid document. Online, guideline no.15 said to contact the "Malaysian Consulates General abroad for further information." 
1. They never pick up the phone.
2. They only have a physical printed version of the real guidelines on what to do at the office and not online.
3. Do not waste your time going because they cannot help you regarding COGCs.
And this is what I don't understand. How can they not be able to help you? I just got a mouthful of "we can't help you here because your application is in Malaysia". It's an online application, I am sure they can improve on their system to get things sorted no matter which embassy/consulate you are at. This one star is directed at the Malaysian system of handling things as a whole, because it truly is an inconvenience.

Frankly I was skeptical of what to expect due to past poor experiences but this morning the service for passport renewal was faultless. Took a number at 0930, got to the counter at 0945, paperwork done in less than 10 mins and I collected a brand new passport 45 mins later. Keep up the good work!

Application 10 mins. Process time 1 hour. Waiting time to submit application 2 hours.... have 2 counters but only 1 operating.... The AIR-CONDITIONING needs to be fixed in Summer because there are too many ppl inside....

If you are driving, you may park your car at the back street of this building. The office located in Level 1 open Monday to Friday, except Malaysia Public Holidays. The staffs are all friendly and helpful. Thumb up to all of the officers in this office 👍🏻
