We hadn’t been for years but decided to give it another go as the locals all said it was good again and it was - we had a great night dining and celebrating a birthday the staff were excellent and went above and beyond for us definitely a place to go if you’re in the areaService: 5/5
There was children running around barefoot and climbing on the bar to no concern of the bar staff or owners. Workers behind the bar were serving our drinks while on the phone, horrible and extremely poor customer service. There were people walking behind the bar to put their phone on charge and serving themselves to the fridges with a cigarette in their mouth. We had a family of 7 come in for a family dinner and one meal was forgotten completely, some meals came out immediately and the others came out at random times. This made it very hard to enjoy a meal together. When we expressed that a meal had been missed we were told "not my fault". The staff seemed as though they hated working there and were not friendly at all. Quite disappointing. Won't be back.

We have just left after a fantastic meal out for our anniversary. We are staying at the local caravan park and the pub was recommended. I mentioned when booking that it was our anniversary and they set up a table for us with balloons, candle and hearts. The meals were fantastic, Bruschetta, Chicken Stack and Scotch Fillet. Great old fashioned pub atmosphere with wonderful food at great prices in a family environment. The Staff could not have been more friendly or helpful. Thank you to all for an amazing night.

Friendly staff, great value food and just a stone's throw from the caravan park and the lake. Food & drinks: Family of 14 ordered dinner, the kids loved their pizzas and the burgers were incredible. Big portions and great quality, looking forward to the next time already.
Food was fantastic. For such a rural place I was surprised. I had a chicken dish, but the veggies were 100% like my nans and the lemon meringue pie was to die for. The service was fantastic, they made us feel like another local, wthey were very helpful and quick. There was an older lady also dining, and the staff were extra kind to her and tentative. I will let others know and visit again. Noteworthy details: Authentically rural. Great staff. Amazing food.

Excellent value Sunday night meal - pork roast and cracking with perfectly roasted veggies and a huge $25 porterhouse cooked exactly as orderedmedium rare - nice chips and salad. Great value, bubbly friendly hostess - absolutely recommended
Who would have thought. Didn’t look like much when we walked in, but friendly staff and the best pub meal we’ve had in a long time. Exceptional lemon meringue pie. Highly recommend this pubService: 5/5
