Reception staff could use some training… We arrived early but were unable to set up due to site maintenance what ever that means had not yet been completed. Reception staff were not very warm or accommodating. Left standing in exception for about 15 minutes…. She Eventually returned to say we could check in after another 50 minutes. I decided to then reverse my van out of the one way reception area and go shopping.. no assistance offered . Anyway not the sort of start anyone wants to their holiday…nnAmenities were spotless and well maintained given high patronage.nnScum line on the pool was putrid!!! Utterly Yuck! No attempt to clean it in a week…nnThe jumping pillow could use a shade sail so too could the pool.nnOtherwise excellent location and facilities close to main attractions and town without the downside associated with that.
Fantastic park to stay in the best part of swan hill. Located on the Murray river, a short walk to the Main Street of town, facilities were excellent and clean. Lots of trees which kept our camp site cool on a hot weekend. Gorgeous pool. Would highly recommend.
WOW what a top spot. Riggt along the river. Great caravan park. Walking distance to town and the great Pioneer Settlement. Amenities are brilliant and the park is kept in a pristine state. Staff are so lovely. Reception and house keepers all so friendly and Alex was so helpful to us when in need. Thank you all for making it such a great time and all your hard work.
I had cause recently to cancel our booking at least 6 months prior to our planned arrival. The cancellation was easy, however I don't appreciate being charged $50 admin fee. I'd be more understanding if it was a few weeks out not months.nnThe other two Big 4 cancellations had no fee attached. We won't be booking at this park in the future.
My husband and I stayed in the luxury cabin.nThe cabin was definitely spacious and very clean. We liked it was at the end of the park on the river and in a very quiet location in the park.nThe staff were very friendly and helpful.nThe park is an easy walk into town.nWe would recommend this caravan park for its accommodation, clean facilities, being on the river and close proximity to town and good bike tracks.
