During my visit, I saw and heard one of the cashiers, Pooja, using inappropriate language towards a customer and displaying unprofessional behavior. Specifically, she referred to a customer as “idiot” and appeared unfriendly, making angry faces rather than engaging in a polite manner. This behavior created an uncomfortable atmosphere for customers.nnI believe that providing a welcoming and respectful environment is essential for customer satisfaction.
Due to time constraints I have always been unable to take my produce in for refund. But I will at least share the details of the bad produce I've been sold.nnChicken breasts - 7 days from Expiry Date, seemingly fine on the top layer. Once home which is less than three minutes from store I immediately open all meat packets to be rewrapped and frozen in determined servings. Under the top layer the chicken was A - frozen. B - festering.nnAnyone knows you can't refreeze meat thats already been frozen...the fact it was frozen on the bottom and warm on the top says the packaging and handling by coles and their fridges are all stuffed and ill regulated, risking the health and safety of its customers.nnThis has occured 3 times over the christmas break, I've had to throw out over 45 dollars of chicken.nnThen onto kiwi fruit again, near a week before expiry, 3 packets of golden kiwi which have a much harder skin than green kiwi's. Once the hard skin was removed, all 18 kiwi's bar three, were rotten. That's another $22.50 lost.nnThis is not a bottom up issue, this is a top down issue. Don't blame your staff or your suppliers, blame your management and uppers that create and quite often ignore, the checks and balances.nnNeeds new management, this can kill someone.nnNow I ain't buying meat or kiwi anymore from Coles Shepparton, but if I buy one more faulty product, i'm going to bypass coles and direct to consumer affairs, this is unsafe.
Dear Coles Customer Service Team,nnI am writing to lodge a complaint regarding a negative experience I had while shopping at Coles Shepparton on December 7, 2024, at 8:25 PM.nnDuring the checkout process, I encountered a staff member named Saira, whose attitude was extremely unprofessional. She was handling customers’ purchased items in a rough and disrespectful manner. Specifically, she was throwing items into the shopping bag rather than placing them properly.nnTo make matters worse, she did not sort the items accordingly. While I can understand that strict categorization between food and non-food items may not always be possible, she threw the laundry detergent into the same bag as my cucumbers, causing the cucumbers to become slightly damaged.nnI would like to ask, is it Coles’ policy to allow staff to handle customers’ purchases in such a careless manner? Is this the standard of customer service that Coles promotes?nnIf Saira finds it burdensome to assist customers with checkout, then I question the reasoning for her being assigned to this role.
The staff, her name is Saira. She is not friendly with customers. I asked her about raincheck, she replied: I have no idea. That’s it. And immdiately she turned her neck. Her attitude is bad.
All customers should check the price tags on items and after when they scans them, it's happened with me twice now, price tag says low and when you scan at counter it's a bit higher. KEEP COUTION guys.
