What an outstanding experience!nSuch lovely goodies to be had, from fruit to toilet rolls and everything in between, and the staff are amazing. You really must go there even if only for the blissful experience, and while you're inside, do purchase something scrumptious, it will make your day.
Today I had a lovely experience at the checkout at Coles Carindale where I was served by Deb. She was very friendly and efficient, and it was so nice to leave the store feeling that for once I, as a customer, actually mattered.nIn recent times I have been very critical of the way prices at Coles and other supermarkets have been going up and the service going down. I am one of those people who refuse to be a voluntary checkout person for a multi-million-dollar company and so will not use self-serve. I also don't like the way you are videoed as you serve yourself. As a consequence, I often wait in line for ages to be served. This morning, even though it was busy, being served by a cheery staff person was a very refreshing experience. Thank you, Deb.
Between dropping numerous brand lines, replacing smaller sized products with the larger 'family size' and unreasonable price rises Coles as a brand has lost a lot of my support. Carindale in particular has placed too much emphasis on self serve checkouts leaving unjustifiable wait times on serviced checkouts. The majority of customers using self serve with trolleys consist of two people. A single person going through self serve takes much longer. The checkout controllers now ignore longer lines at serviced checkouts. Overall Coles is clearly not prioritising even a satisfactory shopping experience.
Never have roast chooks. Never honour their promise.
Far end of the mall in the new section. Long way from the main carparks but well laid out and friendly enough. Big fruit and veg section. Good seafood and meat selection
