Shop at this store every day from around 10am to 2pm. The girls that are working front reception , checkouts have not once even said hello, and let's just say I'm quite a large guy and stand out. Not once been greeted and I always had to greet them.nnManners are free guys, perhaps a team leader should bring this up.
I only go here if I need cold meat as nerang fair doesn't have a delicatessen anymore. As some thought it was a good idea to do pre packaged. But they didn't take me into account.
This store is so disappointing. We purchased two 3 piece chicken boxes as no hot chickens available for at least another 40 mins. When we got home chicken was so dry and uneatable, disgusting infact. Will never Shop at thos store again.
We have shopped here weekly for years. Today I met the rudest staff member ever, and we will shop elsewhere from now on. We were buying over $150 of weekly groceries, and some gift cards for our nieces and nephews for Christmas. The young girl at the self service let me know we could only do 6 at a time so would need to do 2 transactions, which I said was fine. Then a tall, older blond lady, who I assume to be management/supervisor walked over and said you can only have 5. I explained that we have 7 nieces and nephews, so I would buy 5 and have my partner buy the other 2. She replied “no, you can’t have any now” before snatching them out of my hand and walking away. I was shocked, as was the younger staff member. We left our full trolley where it was and went across the road to Woolies. Just rude and completely unnecessary. I hope she has a Merry ChristmasnnCarolyn who is normally in the self checkout area is always lovely, love seeing her and saying hi each week, she always remembers us! it was not her that was rude!!
It's not the best Coles, but still good. They will have what you need. I would suggest improvements in the deli section, as the meats did not look very good.
