I had a very positive experience at Coburg Family Medical Centre.nnThe front desk staff were friendly, professional, and very helpful throughout the process. I would especially like to thank Dr. Shafia for the excellent care. The doctor was kind, attentive, and took the time to provide clear explanations about my condition and treatment options, which made me feel comfortable and well-informed.nnAs an international student, I also appreciated how smoothly they handled direct billing with Medibank OSHC. The process was seamless and hassle-free, with no issues at all.nnOverall, I highly recommend this clinic
Make sure you take blankets and mattress if possible so that you can sleep for 1 hour they make you wait every time you visit here. Booked an appointment for 4pm it’s already 4 45 pm. Still Been waiting. Reception is terrible. No smile, no acknowledgement, won’t let you know how long will be the wait. Visit this medical centre at your own risk.
I had an appointment for 2:00 and got here 15 minutes early like any other normal person would have an appointment for, then a friend of the receptionist walked in with there kid at around 2:30 and was seen within 9 minutes of walking in the door.nWhat a disgrace of a place this is, if you know the girl at the front you get quick access to a doctor no problem.nIt’s 3:30 and still haven’t even seen a doctor yet.nDo not come here if you can help it. This place is literally the worst place you can come to if you have issues.
I had a very disappointing experience with reception staff at this clinic. I had an appointment scheduled for 1:40 PM, but by 2:00 PM I was still waiting just to check in and make payment. After finally paying, I was informed that there were still two patients ahead of me.nnI understand that delays can happen in healthcare, but what was frustrating was the complete lack of communication and respect for patients’ time. When I asked how much longer the wait would be, I was simply told to keep waiting without any clear answer.nnI then asked if another doctor was available so I could be seen sooner. Instead of checking or offering assistance, the receptionist cancelled my appointment without my consent. After that, she walked away and started talking to other staff. When I tried to get their attention by saying “excuse me,” I was ignored and then told that I was being rude and asked to leave.nnWhat upset me the most was the dismissive and unprofessional attitude from the reception staff. I felt completely unheard and disrespected, as if patient concerns and health were not a priority.nnI hope the clinic seriously improves its communication and customer service, because no patient should be treated this way when seeking medical care.
The waiting times at this medial centre is incredibly slow. Every appointment my wife and I have been to we have waited at least 1 hour past our appointment time. Our appointment time today was 6:30pm, it is now 7:30pm as I am writing this and the doctor still has 2 more patients to see in front of us. Do not recommend this place and we will be going elsewhere for future appointments.
