Assistant manager was lovely. Leaving a note and cookies in the room for my daughters birthday. Room was nice and clean with great views of the river. Wish restaurant/cafe was available while we were there, also walls are very thin. Could hear our neighbours conversations great location, would stay again.
Stayed here for work - very convenient location but a bit noisy at night with the trains and trams. Apart from that the suite I was in was very roomy and appropriately furnished. The staff were nice and I even got a $10 voucher to use at the bar. The food options available were decent considering there wasn’t a kitchen on site.
Fabulous CBD location with a great view from our little balcony. The room was very well equipped and comfortable. The staff were lovely and very helpful. Parking a little tight but reasonably priced at $30. Good value and will definitely stay again on our next Melbourne break.
It's a very old building that has a damp carpet smell. The rooms have decent amenities, but everything feels a bit cheap and old. The beds are not too bad but not great either. It's 10-15 minute walk to get anywhere, which is alright most times.Rooms: 3/5
Great location and affordable price for a hotel in the CBD, its located on the edge of the CBD so if you're coming in with car and isn't too comfortable with city driving you can easily access it without having to do any crazy city driving and hook turns that the CBD has to offer. The parking garage can seem a little intimidating at first but if you take your time it is totally fine! I paid a little extra to pay for a room with a view over the yarra and Southbank and it was absolutely worth it, watching the hustle and bustle of the city from your hotel room is amazing. At the top of the hour you also see a big fire display on the other side of the river. The hotel has a pool, guest laundry and a very friendly staff. Absolutely a place I can recommend to anyone just staying in melbourne for a weekend or for a couple of weeks!
We stayed at this hotel for only one night but wished it could have been more. Absolutely loved our room and the service was excellent. No food available at the hotel but we found a little cafe just down the road at 474 Flinders Street think it was called Riverside where we ate both lunch and breakfast. Their prices were AMAZINGLY cheap. We would definitely use this hotel again.

We had a perfect stay during the 2023 Australian Open. We dealt with many of the staff here and they are all professional, cheerful and friendly. Very speedy check in and the lifts were always quick to arrive. We stayed in a Riverview room and the view was impressive. It’s the perfect vantage point for the Crown Melbourne’s Gas Brigade fire show every evening. The bed is comfortable, as were the pillows and we slept better than we do at home as we found it very quiet at night. We were happy with the size of the room, which also contained a good sized fridge and microwave. The air con is quiet but very effective. Lots of power outlets for our gadgets and the TV is capable of accepting HDMI inputs. Room was cleaned every day and they did an excellent job - was never a problem requesting an extra towel etc. Shower pressure was among the strongest of any hotel we’ve stayed at. Very close to the trams but we didn't use them much as it was a flat and enjoyable walk to Melbourne Park and the MCG. Will not hesitate to stay here again. Many thanks for giving us a great week.
We booked over the phone for 2 adults and 2 kids. We didn't check but for $300 on a week night, we assumed we had been given a 2 bedroom. No, the kids are sleeping on the couch and even though the website says there are rooms available, according to a very rude management "theres nothing available" Mind you, duty manager couldn't even face us, simply barking orders from behind the wall. Then out heating didn't work. It just kept blowing cold air. To which after several attemtps to fix they just turned it off and said they "may move us when availability becomes" We were freezing, the kids have runny noses . We had no blankets and were given on request, 2 old smelly itchy blankets. The next day the staff couldn't believe we were not moved and at the least, not offered a portable heater. No discount on the night rate but we were given free parking and the option to move rooms for our 2nd night, to which we declined and went and stayed at another hotel. It's a good location but the linen and the rooms are old and it certainly isn't a 4.5 star hotel. Service stinks.
