We had the apartment for NYE, location for us was perfect. The apartment itself, bedroom was good, large room, bathroom wasn't bad, needs updating. The lounge room was large but had a very small couch that just fitted 2 of us, if you were to have someone visit they would either sit on floor or on 1 of the 2 chairs from dining table. The check in process is all staff free, picked key up from a locker where you enter code provided, check out was they same. Was a pleasant enough stay. Rating a 3 star.
The room is spacious. But it wasn't clean include bedding: There are so many dusts on the bed! I doubt they'd laundried it Also they didn't serve any room cleaning service include new towel during we stay
Floor was full of mould. Bedsheets and towels had stains on them. Reception was unavailable when we tried to get some new towels. We had a few mates stay in some of the other rooms on the same weekend and we saw their rooms were just as filthy. The elevator doesn't work properly and you have to use the stairs to get to level 3 which is hard if you have luggage with you
Location was great. Room was spacious Beds were comfortable The carpet was absolutely distgusting they were so dirty and had black marks all over it and very smelly. There was no front desk which was very annoying.
This is the worst hotel ever and will never recommend it to anyone. There is no physical reception and it is hard to find where to enter. The carpet had stains all over and there were water leakage stains. There were ants in the bathroom and mould on the wall. The curtain rods looked like they were going to fall and I was too afraid to open/close them. Shelves missing in the fridge. Draw missing from TV unit. The lamps in the bedroom were very wonky. The lift only went to level 2 and I had to walk up to level 3 to get to my room. Too bad if you were an older person or had some sort of health issue. The ground floor lift area is dirty and really unacceptable. The pictures do not match was they really look like. Will never recommend this accommodation to anyone.
Great, central location. Rooms are a bit dated and have some signs of repairs that haven't quite been finished professionally. Friendly and helpful staff.
Absolutely devastated to arrive at our accommodation late afternoon since travelling from 5am, to find the key code did not work, after 3 calls finally we got our keys. We got to our room to find it so hot , about 35degrees and we felt unwell. The Airconditioner was not working!!! but blowing hot air, the sun was beaming in as the curtains were wide open. We were then offered fans!!! And were not called back after numerous calls, with no help or response. Still waiting on our refund!!! thankful the oaks on Southbank had great accommodation for us.
Spent the weekend here. Overall experience was okay. Firstly there is no reception desk or staff on sight, if you need help you have to call them and pretty sure the call goes to someone overseas. You collect your room key with a code via a special box.There was a problem with our key collection, spent 10 mins on the phone to them in the rain while fixing the issue. Also you can't purchase parking on the day, apparently you have to pre order a car spot which wasn't advertised when booking. Room itself was fine. Nothing like the picture online, very dull room, carpets were abit dirty. We booked a room with a big bed but the bed in the actual room was just 2 singles pushed together, 1 was incredibly hard and uncomfortable to sleep on. Tv in the room didn't work and wifi was terrible. Probably only good thing about it is the location. Next to King St and Flinders st so easy access to lots of things. Don't think it was worth $300 for 2 nights, won't come back or recommend
Whilst I cannot fault the location and the size of the room, general maintenance and cleaning wouldn't go astray. Windows full of cobwebs, there was no air conditioning and the second shower needed a good clean, there was exposed plasterboard metal edging in the bedroom I stayed in. Whole place needs a freshen up.Rooms: 2/5
Starting with the service, It was really good, they were really nice and helpful. The room I stayed in was really nice and I loved it only there were a few things that triggered my anxiety one of them was the washing machine and dryer, just the banging and loud noise it made, and how all the banging was in the bathroom it just made me personally feel a bit triggered and just small things there was a loose floorboard and stuff that kinda annoyed me, and the fire alarm stuff, like how sensitive the alarm was had me nervous to do stuff but otherwise it was a lovely stay. And for the location, it was a bit hidden it took me a while to find it and stuff but once you found it you can't miss it.
