I had a wonderful experience celebrating my post-birthday getaway and enjoying some much-needed me time at this hotel. From the moment I arrived, I felt welcomed and valued as a guest. The hotel was comfortable, well-maintained, and provided a relaxing atmosphere that made my stay truly enjoyable.nnAlthough I encountered an issue during my stay and experienced a delay in the email response, I was genuinely impressed by how it was ultimately handled. I would especially like to commend Clarissa, the Guest Services Manager, for her professionalism, empathy, and dedication to guest satisfaction. She took the time to listen to my concerns, acknowledged the situation sincerely, provided reassurance, and worked efficiently to resolve the matter. Her genuine care and commitment to delivering excellent service turned what could have been a negative experience into a positive one.nnI would also like to commend all the front desk duty staff during my stay. They were knowledgeable, courteous, and always willing to assist with my requests. Their attentiveness, warm hospitality, and readiness to go the extra mile made me feel genuinely cared for and contributed greatly to the overall enjoyment of my stay.nnIt is often not the absence of problems that defines a great hotel, but how those problems are addressed. The team’s professionalism and sincere commitment to guest satisfaction speak volumes about the quality of their service. Thank you for making my post-birthday stay memorable and for ensuring that I left feeling heard, appreciated, and well looked after. I would gladly recommend this hotel to others and would be delighted to stay here again in the future.
Avoid avoid avoid.nnThere are issues with cleanliness in the rooms, but I was unfortunate enough to have a member of staff ignore the do not disturb sign on my door, and barge into my room while I was undressed. This was at 1030 in the morning, having agreed a later check out with the front desk.nnRespecting do not disturb signs is just such an absolute basic in the hotel business and if they can’t get this right, god knows what else is going with regards the rest of the operation.nnThis was evident in their response when I told them what happened; I was offered a coffee by way of recompense which perfectly illustrated their failure to grasp the scale of this mistake.nnWhen pushed, by booking.com, they then went on to offer me 20% of my accommodation costs back which again goes to show how little they care for the dignity, safety and well being of their guests.nnThere’s a Quest hotel nearby. Stay there instead. They’ve always been wonderful to me and I was planning to stay there again but thought I’d try something new.nnUpdate: Booking.com have agreed to refund the full amount paid.nnI just wanted to say that if, at check out, someone had given me a meaningful apology and acknowledged the wrongness of what had happened, instead of standing there and letting me pay the 30 odd dollars I had as my outstanding balance, that may have prevented the situation from escalating. If someone had said “What happened to you was totally wrong. Please, let us take care of that last charge for you” things may have been different.nnI appreciate you’re in business, but looking after people is your business and if you put money above that no matter what, it will often cost you more than it needed to.nnI hope you learn from this.
10/10, absolutely loved the place. We had a great view and staff were wonderful and accommodating. Beds were super comfortable, which was great after a long and tiring day of exploring. Area is quiet but near public transport so even when we got back to the hotel late, we were comfortable.nnattractions like sea life or sydney opera house were all within 20mins via public transport.nnfood was great and we had a lovely brunch and great coffee. Would definitely book again next time im in sydney!
Location is decent — only about 3 minutes’ walk to public transport, and the harbour view is definitely a nice touch.nHowever, the cleanliness was a bit disappointing. The AC vent/grille in the room was very dusty, which was quite noticeable. I reported it to reception, but the response felt pretty indifferent — just an “okay, thanks for letting us know” without much concern or even a simple apology.nOverall, the view was nice, but the cleanliness and service attitude make me hesitate to recommend this hotel to others.
I had a fantastic stay and would highly recommend this hotel. From the moment I arrived, the staff were incredibly professional, welcoming, and attentive, making the whole experience feel seamless and relaxed.nnThe room was spotless, well-maintained, and very comfortable, with everything I needed for a great stay. Housekeeping clearly takes pride in their work, as the cleanliness was consistently excellent throughout.nnOverall, the combination of outstanding service and high standards made this a really enjoyable stay. I wouldn’t hesitate to return in the future.
