Ciccio's is one of my local pizzerias that I have recently rediscovered. After going there years ago, the hype seemingly died down and it always looked like it was closed or not very popular. However, yesterday I tried it again and I was extremely and pleasantly surprised! They have changed owners from when the shop opened originally, but the pizzas have the same integrity, fresh ingredients and actually a nicer and crisper! base. I generally pleased with eating there, nd there were so many online orders being placed that we knew it was still a great place Also the waitress/cashier was super lovely as well
I used to get pizzas from here but stopped going as it was a little expensive for what it was and they always cooked the pasta a little too Al dente for my liking. Now on deciding to give it another go, one of the business partners has left and there is a new menu. Sadly our pizza again was not worth the money. The base at the centre was the thickness of cardboard so our ingredients slopped off when we tried to pick up cut pieces. We asked for extras. Onion extra on my entire half consisted of two very small dices and they were raw. Oregano I could not see or taste. Hot salami was sliced gossamer thin, barely present and lacking any heat whatsoever. Rest of the ingredients were vegetarian and there was virtually no change out of $30. Won't be going again, sorry.
This place lives up to it's name, serving authentic Italian pizzas, on a nice thin crust. My friend who arrived from Italy not too long brought me here and said that it's the best pizza place he's had while in Melbourne. Because the pizzas are specially made and crafted, no half-and-half pizzas are allowed.
Just had takeaway from here and it was delicious, authentic Italian pizza. Ordered the Toto with prosciutto and mushroom and a Margarita, both excellent. Will definitely be going back. Hands down best pizza in the area.
Drive past here all the time, and tonight thought we'd give it a go as our local pizza place has really gone downhill lately. Was impressed with the quality & flavour - traditional style, thinner base. The kids were happy, which says a lot as they are fussy!
First time we have tried this Ciccio's for a take away pizza. We ordered a cappriciosa with prawns. We agreed the base was perfect, light and crisp. The topping consisted of a rich, home made tomatoe passata, real slices of ham, mozeralla cheese, olives and a huge, succulent, seemingly fresh prawn on each slice. We will definitely be returning.
Wonderful, thin crust, delicious pizza with REAL toppings : No plastic chemical fake ham and the taste is fantastic : Highly recommend !
Awesome food, service. Jason, Kath & Brandon are awesome people, its like you are at a mates place. They make you feel like part of the family. Recommend this place to everyone. Come and enjoy the fantastic food & company.
Nothing this place looked clean from the outside but on arrival inside after 15 minutes of standing without acknowledged ... I began to notice the few customers dining waiting in disarray .. The tables had dirty plates and dirty kitchen towels sitting on the tables... Was so disgusting to have notice 2 more tables was worst filthy.. Turns my stomach had to walk out.. But thanks to the Kebab shop next door so clean and nice staff great kebabs
Great Pizza! The pizzaiolo pizza maker was trained in Italy and knows excactly what he's doing. The pizza here is as good as Italy.
